They put profits before customers. I purchased a used 4Runner, and then soon realized that the seat-to-gas-pedal ratio aggravated an old sciatic nerve injury. I called to ask if I could trade it and was told to bring it in and they'd do everything to make it right. I drove the 80 miles to the dealership only to learn that they would give me $3,000 less for the vehicle I had purchased just 9 days earlier. I understand needing to make a profit and working for commission, but as a Realtor, when a deal is about to fall through and a client is about to lose out on a home, I'll willing to cut my commission to get a customer what they need. Not so at Stephen Wade Toyota. More

What mostly impressed me was that they were able to add a few add ons that I requested, over the phone, but before I had come in to finalize the deal. Once there, the purchasing experience went smoothly, and took less than 1 hr total. Blair Green, the salesman, spent time and helped us to pick out a new 4Runner. Made us a deal and said the dealership would pay half the cost for running boards. When the paperwork was done, Jim Anderson rushed us through signing the contracts. He mentioned that there was a lot of taxes on this purchase and he didn’t explain what all the charges were. We were already preapproved for financing from our credit union. When we did the Toyota satisfaction survey, it mentioned 2-year service and warranty, Jim Anderson said it was 5 year. So, looked at the sales contract, he had sold me over $5000 in service contracts I didn’t know about or wanted. I didn’t worry about looking for them when we purchased the vehicle, because they were never discussed, I never dreamed they would be this dishonest. We even had to pay the full price for the running boards and installation. Bottom line; when doing business with Stephen Wade Toyota, read and understand every line on every piece of paper they give you. They will take you if you let them! More

Johnny showed us options and did his best to help meet our needs, the whole Stephen Wade staff was helpful and accommodating. We purchased two used cars and they were willing to negotiate on the prices and gave us a great value on our trade in as well as paying off the small balance. We needed to go from being a one car family to being a two car family on a budget, and we accomplished that. The only bummer of the whole day was the car we purchased didn't come with a spare, just one of those useless fix a flat pumps. But if that's my only problem I will count the day a success. We have now purchased four vehicles from Stephen Wade and will do so again. More
