Had a great experience going in to buy the vehicle finances good sales people were good the deal went smoothly finalized everything went to go leave and found a bolt in the tire of the pick up. We bou finances good sales people were good the deal went smoothly finalized everything went to go leave and found a bolt in the tire of the pick up. We bought ask them if they can fix the tire they sent us back to the service shop, pulled the vehicle in and said it be an hour and a half to two hours before he could get to us. They have three oil changes ahead of us explain to them we just bought the vehicle and we’re getting ready to drive to Vegas, they didn’t care they sent us to big O, so not happy with the service department whatsoever. Probably won’t be back in either, horrible customer service on their end. More
BUYER BEWARE! Especially ladies. I've had it with Stephen Wade. Go to Cedar or Vegas, do not buy from Stephen Wade. My first experience was about 7 years ago when Especially ladies. I've had it with Stephen Wade. Go to Cedar or Vegas, do not buy from Stephen Wade. My first experience was about 7 years ago when I bought a used car from Stephen Wade Honda. I was told the vehicle had a warranty remaining when I bought it. When I found myself stranded on the side of the road I sent the car to Subaru to see what was wrong. There was an after market cruise control on the car which voided the warranty. I took the vehicle to Stephen Wade Chevy and disclosed the problem. They agreed to take the vehicle on trade and I bought a brand new Chevy Equinox. I was treated well during the purchase process. I was told they pay referral fees if I ever brought in a successful buyer. As my Equinox started to age the quality of service diminished too. I have had every oil change and other service done exclusively at this dealership. When I refused all the extra stuff they tried to sell when I came in I started to get passed around like a slut at a frat party. The service writers handed me down the latter to the bottom of the barrel. I had a headlight go out and after looking at what had to be done to change it my husband said it was more than he could do. I called the dealership to see how much it would cost to fix. I was told since I had my own parts they would charge $155 for each side. The reason it is so expensive is because the bumper has to be removed. So after the initial shock I wondered why they were charging the same to do the second light since they already had the bumper off. My service writer wouldn't even take my call, he was standing next to the guy I was talking to, telling him what to say. The response made no sense at all and he kept saying the same thing over and over, failing to make any sense. Then he said I was given incorrect information. The only thing I got from the conversation is that they charge $310 to çhange 2 headlights. The ignorance and disrespect was ridiculous. How dare I question their pricing. I guess I'm just a crazy Karen for asking. They will never see me again unless I have no other choice. By the way the part about paying a referral is a lie too. I brought my father in law in. I called in advance and introduced myself as a previous buyer. My father in law bought a truck which ended up coming off the truck lot down the road. When I asked if I was getting a referral fee again I got the run around and received nothing. My father in law drove the truck 200 miles and the engine blew. This place is a joke all the way around. STAY CLEAR! More
Took car in for check engine light and power steering issue. Service dept. recommended replace spark plugs and service fuel injectors. Was told power steering issue was related to check engine light pr issue. Service dept. recommended replace spark plugs and service fuel injectors. Was told power steering issue was related to check engine light problem. $880 later, power steering still not working, and check engine light has come on three times. Dealer checked and said problem was with the evaporative systems valve, and despite clearing code twice, the light still comes on. I have since learned that the EVAP valve is a problem in Chev Travereses and therefore warranted for up to 150K miles. The dealership failed to advise me of this, or take steps to replace the warranted valve. The $880 in service fees I was charged may not have been needed. Power steering is still problematic, but I’ll take my vehicle to a private shop to have that looked at. We are very disappointed in the service and poor diagnostics from this St. George dealership. We drove down from Canada through the Snow storm that hit Utah on April 2-3, 2023 and our old 2010 enclave lost its ABS, four wheel drive and stable link systems on the highway. I took the SUV in just to ask Utah on April 2-3, 2023 and our old 2010 enclave lost its ABS, four wheel drive and stable link systems on the highway. I took the SUV in just to ask questions on whether or not I could still safely drive with out getting the vehicle repaired. Mitch Godfrey, service advisor was unbelievable good. He checked for the error codes and also told me I had 2 cylinders misfiring on my engine. He then informed me that the lower 85 octane fuel I was using was a very low grade fuel in the USA and I should use at least the 87 or 91 octane when in the states. He reset codes and I Added 91 octane to the tank and I had no engine codes and lots of power. Anyways he told me to bring the enclave in the next morning and see him ( no appointment necessary ) and I left the enclave with him. By 3 pm the same day the enclave was repaired at a reasonable cost and working 100%. NO snow will stop us on our return trip to Canada. Thanks a million for looking after those of us that travel and are not regular customers. As a side note, Steven Wade was not my first call. I phone the other chevy dealership ( closer to hotel) and they were not interested in an out of towner and I was going to have to wait 7-10 days to get into the shop. Mitch - Thanks for looking out for your Canadian neighbors. I 1 highly recommend this dealership for any emergency repairs during your travels. More
