I purchased a new Ram truck in Sept 2023 and the sales folks were great they found a vehicle that was close to what i was looking for and all went well. in Oct 2023 I received a letter from the Florida D folks were great they found a vehicle that was close to what i was looking for and all went well. in Oct 2023 I received a letter from the Florida DMV telling me my driver's license was going to be suspended because I cancelled my insurance on my old truck and that the license tag from my old truck was still on the vehicle. I found out that the folks at the Fort Walton R each Ram dealership transferred the tag from my trailer to my new truck? Not sure why but I was driving around with a tag not belonging to my vehicle and no tag on my lawnmower trailer... I had to spend 4+ hours at the DMV getting this problem fixed and to make sure my driver's license was not suspended. It cost me a day's work, 50+ dollars at the DMV, and when I brought it to the attention of a manager at the Ram dealership, they did not seem concerned. I asked what they would do about my issue after giving them all the information from the DMV he just said he would look into it, and I had to ask for compensation for the poor work and what additional expense. the only thing I got in return was call us the next week and was more or less shuffled out the door. The follow up service at this dealership is very poor and I do not believe i will do any more business with them in the future. More
Amazing customer service from Rodger in sales. He was VERY knowledgeable on the vehicles that I was interested in. I Special ordered a unique car and he called me when it arrived on the truck and He was VERY knowledgeable on the vehicles that I was interested in. Arrived for the appointment to be told, the dealerships own website appointment process doesn’t work. Sounded like I was the second person with a scheduling issue today. However, I came in for a recall issue last year….and remembered I had the SAME ISSUE. The problem is systemic and customer service is not a priority. I won’t get burned again. Left there feeling like it was somehow my fault…no accountability, it’s a system issue. Maybe get back to basics with customer service…the dealership brand is built on reputation not the product being sold. More

Three was a squeaking noise coming from bake brakes. She took it in and dropped it off. She was told after diagnostics it had a rock stuck in the rotor and it wasn't covered under warranty. It would cost her $800. She posted a bad review and they lowered the price to $400. It sat there for 7 days with no info. She constantly called and couldn't talk to anyone. On the 7th day she called me (dad) and said she was coming to get the Jeep fixed or not at the dealership. I (dad) live here in Fort Walton and went over there. They said they could get it done in one hour.( After is set there for 7 days). We agreed. They put on new rotors and my daughter paid them $400. She drove it down the road and it wasn't fixed. Same sound. She took it back immediately and they said they would figure it out and gave her a loaner. They didn't want to give her $400 dollars back but she insisted strongly and got it back. The final out come was it had a bent pad indicator. There was never a rock. That was a lie. From one dad to another I would not send my children to this dealership. More
There are lots of dealers in the area. I suggest going to a different dealership if you want legit, trustworthy service. I purchased a used 2020 Ford Fusion several weeks ago from this dealership. I have yet to receive my bill of sale, lender papers, and warranty papers. I have tried to contact the dealership and also the corporate office for 2 weeks and never get anyone to respond back to me at all. They talked me into a 5 year warranty that I have found out was not a warranty at all. They said it would be through Ford as a certified car but the bank that did the financing said it was service agreement thru this dealer which basically has no value at all. The salesman won't even answer my calls or text. I have left messages I was not paying the $2800.00 for a so called warranty. Now the bank is involved to recoop this 'additional' profit that I have stated I will not pay. No paperwork has been emailed or mailed to me yet. Buyer beware of the way this company operates. Now it has been 35 days and I just received a warranty card in the mail that states the name of the so called warranty company. After research I found out that this company is a scam with BBB review rating of 1.16 with 1.0 as the lowest score possible. I still have never received any kind of contract stating the coverages of this 'warranty' company. But according to all the reviews they don't cover anything and every review I read say it is a scam operation. So beware of how this dealership treats their customers. I was cheated out of several thousand dollars for a warranty that was not what I was told it would be. DO NOT buy any kind of warranty thru this dealership. They refuse to even respond to any request you might have concerning an extended warranty after you buy the vehicle and refuse to cancel it and refuse to even talk to you after you leave the dealership and they have your money. It has now been 3 months and I never got a refund for a cancelled warranty. The warranty company said they sent the refund to the dealer and the check was cashed 5 weeks ago by the dealer but the dealership never sent it to me or the bank. And of course the dealership won't respond to me concerning this. They just kept the money and I am out thousands of dollars. Buyer beware! More
The worst Service Department I have ever experienced. I recently called while on the road returning to Fort Walton Beach to report a severe transmission problem. The Service Department was kind enough to give me an appointment for a Friday morning at 0700. I waited until Saturday at noon to call and ask about my vehicle. The service Rep told me they are a little backed up and their transmission specialist could not even LOOK at it till Monday!!!!! I asked why I was not contacted to tell me and their reply was...oh, I texted you. SERIOUSLY...Texted me!!!??? I took my truck in before, to this same group, to have my parking sensors looked at. I was told that there were too many wires in my after-market bumpers to even try to look at my sensor problem...TOO MANY WIRES! Another time (recently) I took my truck in to have some dash parts replaced and when I received the vehicle back, my horn was not working. When I had a separate vendor look at my horn, it was discovered that the wires were replaced backwards! To make matters worse...EVERY time I call and set a service appointment...I am hounded by the Sales Department wanting to talk to me about what vehicle I was looking for to purchase. I have had this happen four (4) times and when I respond to tell them I am only working with service and I have no interest in a new vehicle; I am told that they will make a note and not call me again. Yet EVERY time I contact service, my phone is blown up by them asking about my new car interest and could they please text me!!! I have learned that scheduled appointments for service does NOT mean your vehicle will be looked at that day, or even that week. This is unacceptable and amateurish. I would NOT recommend Step One to any of my friends or business colleagues. More
