I was contacted by this dealer today regarding a Kelly Blue Book (KBB) cash offer that I placed. Mind you, they called me pretty much bagging me to come to thief store first because they could provide me Blue Book (KBB) cash offer that I placed. Well my car checked out as described and was told how nice of a car it was but they offered me $8,000. Left their facility and went across the street to EchoPark and lo and behold I received a check for $12,800. If a dealer is going to use the KBB cash offer program they need to honor that estimate provide vehicle inspection reveals what was disclosed. Very dishonest people working here who are obviously praying on people who they think are desperate to sell. KBB will be made aware of the behavior as well. One dealership that I will drive on to that’s for sure. More
Brought my GMC in for an oil change and tire rotation. 2.5 hours later I’m still waiting for the truck. I was on time and told maybe 1.5 hours total. Very poor experience with the service department and service manager. I brought my brand new truck in because the passenger side headlight was not working. Worst experience I've ever had trying to buy a car. Can't get inventory so they make the customer pay an extra $30,000.00 on top of MSRP for an Escalade. I am also curious about the "used" parts business model. We were charged $4,856.00 for full R&R of Lifters, gaskets, bolts, etc in our Yukon Denali in July 2021. On August 9, 2021 the same symptoms occurred We were charged $4,856.00 for full R&R of Lifters, gaskets, bolts, etc in our Yukon Denali in July 2021. On August 9, 2021 the same symptoms occurred that caused the R&R. Had to have AAA tow our Yukon to another Certified GM Service Center and were told that not only was it done incorrectly, but multiple used parts were also put back into the truck, multiple parts are missing entirely and more damage was done to the engine. Service Manager already admitted on the phone that they frequently use the customers' old bolts (just the beginning) but we were charged over $253 for 30 new bolts. (put back into their inventory I guess?) This doesn't include failed lifters, etc. The two dealerships are blaming each other and refuse to be accountable, although they are both Certified GM Service Centers. The damage caused by the first repair has lead the second dealership to recommend a new engine now and at least $6000 to make good. We have been without a vehicle for 8 days now, no repairs started, no loaner car offered and we have been forced to conference call the two dealerships on our own phone because they've allegedly been leaving messages for each other and we have been told multiple times "he/she is too busy right now." They need to make this right and replace the engine (obviously at no charge to us) so that we have a dependable vehicle once again. Oh, and by the way, we are active-duty military so not having a vehicle is super convenient to get to base every day. We've contacted GM Corporate now. Hoping someone in this company is ethical because an attorney is expensive. Spend your money elsewhere. More
