Having recently moved from Vermont where I had outstanding service, I was surprised to find a dealership that surpassed my old favorite. I tried two dealerships that were closer to my home but ex outstanding service, I was surprised to find a dealership that surpassed my old favorite. I tried two dealerships that were closer to my home but experienced less than mediocre service so I kept looking. In addition I had an a long standing issue with the car that was missed by both previous dealerships but was diagnosed and fixed the first time by Steingold. The mechanic was experienced, thorough and professional. When I dropped off the car I noticed that the service desk is in an area that is removed from the intense hustle and bustle of mechanics, cashier or sales. That provides an environment where the communication can be carried out in relative quiet. They are just the best! More
Had an issue with a recall and was told to call Volvo. A truly great dealership would have taken my concerns to Volvo and not just told me to call Volvo if I had a problem. truly great dealership would have taken my concerns to Volvo and not just told me to call Volvo if I had a problem. More
Not only did Steingold Volvo have the best price for my parts (they beat both of my local dealers), but I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Michael Bernardo, who apparently handles all of the Inte parts (they beat both of my local dealers), but I had the pleasure of speaking directly with Michael Bernardo, who apparently handles all of the Internet orders. He informed me my part was in stock and ready to ship. However, UPS had already come and gone for the day, so it would go out tomorrow. I mentioned that if it had been able to go out today, I would have received it before the weekend and could install it Saturday, but, oh well, I would do it next week. This is where Mike went above and beyond. He offered to pack it right away and take it to a UPS store, so my parts are now en route to me and will be here in time to install them this weekend. This is what Customer Service is all about. Mike did not have to go to the UPS store for me, and I was willing to accept that I would not be able to install my parts as planned, but he really stepped up and showed me what Steingold is made of. Thank you very much, Mike. Brad S. in Maine More

It was absolutely turn-key and the people at Volvo NA and Steingold were very cool. If you are looking for a dealer with great attention to detail who puts the customer first, this has got to be the place. Thanks, Andrew More
So I purchased a Volvo from Lee Volvo in Mass. I take it to Steingold Volvo for service because Lee is about 2 hours away. I just purchased the vehicle last year so it is new. I was given 5 years free oil to Steingold Volvo for service because Lee is about 2 hours away. I just purchased the vehicle last year so it is new. I was given 5 years free oil changes for free. It came as part of the package for a great deal on my car. So I took it to Steingold for it's 2nd oil and I go to the desk to say I have an appointment. They proceed to type or pretend to type up my information (which they already have) and I am standing there for about 15 minutes and he is just typing away ignoring me so I walked away and went to the waiting room becasue he was just ignoring me. I left the key at the desk and walked away. I waited 2 hours for an oil change that they then wanted to charge me for. He said after my Volvo didn't need an oil change which they did anyway becasue it only needs it 1x a year. Who the xxxx would bring their new car for an oil change once a year. He must have thought I was stupid or something. I didn't pay for the service but if my car didn't need the oil change they should have told me that instead of performing it anyway. I then got into my car and I couldn't believe what I saw. Black grease fingerprints all over my steering wheel the door handle frame my gear handle and even my visor. I then went into my trunk when I returned home and noticed that they had even gone through my white canvas bag because it had black grease fingermarks all over it. I coulnd't believe it. I can tell you that I had personal information in that bag and I will know right where to go if I find out they used my information for anything. I couldn't believe they went through my bag in the trunk. I was so disgusted with the service that I decided never to return to Steingold ever again. I have also told a couple of people I know what happened and they have decided to go elsewhere. The idiots in the front are extremely rude. It's so funny how nice everyone is to you when you buy a car but after it's bought they treat you like dirt. They basically look like they don't know what is going on or what they are doing. A xxxxxx could do their job. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO STEINGOLD. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
My 1998 V70 wouldn't start and was towed to Volvo dealer in Warwick/Cranston. Service said I needed a new fuel pump and it would cost $1800. I called Steingold and they said it would only cost $900. So I ha in Warwick/Cranston. Service said I needed a new fuel pump and it would cost $1800. I called Steingold and they said it would only cost $900. So I had it towed there. After they checked, it only needed a couple of gallons of gas. Has run fine for the last 10,000 miles. Cost me $99 for the diagnostic charge. More
