Once you buy the car you will never hear from them again. Never got license plates and every time I call they promise to call back and have never done so once for ANYTHING. I get pulled over by DPS often because I have no plates. Most times when you call you will go on-hold. About half the time I was put on hold the line dropped at exactly 2 minutes. This is an appalling business who does not deserve your patronage and will not treat you nice at all. More
Short Version: terrible experience attempting to purchase a vehicle at a painfully understaffed dealership. Wasted over 6 hours at the dealership waiting to purchase said vehicle, and was told after we hande a vehicle at a painfully understaffed dealership. Wasted over 6 hours at the dealership waiting to purchase said vehicle, and was told after we handed the folks a check and signed all the paperwork that "they couldn't sell us this car". Long version: We called ahead and spoke to Faith (who was very helpful throughout the day), who confirmed that a certain vehicle was available for sale as shown on Steele's website AND that it was actually on-site and ready for pickup. We got our payment together and arrived at the dealership around 10am. Faith was working with another customer (noted they were busy + understaffed), and after what seemed like a long wait (#1), Mike came along and we worked with him in her absence. When we stated we wanted to take a test drive, we were told the specific car was not ready, and we would need to wait (#2) for it to get "shopped" (inspected for road readiness) before we could drive it. This took until somewhere after 1-2PM before we could even drive the vehicle (the shop was reported to be understaffed). The vehicle was everything we were hoping for and we were ready to get our vehicle. We then waited (#3) for quite a long time for the lone finance gentleman to become available. There were a total of 4 people ahead of us because...you guessed it...understaffed! Once we did deal with finance, it was a quick process. Probably because we had an out-the-door price and a check in-hand to match, so little chance/need to go the upsell route. After that, Faith came back around some time later had all the paperwork together we needed to sign. Paperwork was straightforward, and we handed off the check and were ready to take our vehicle home. After some more waiting (#4), we were informed that "this vehicle actually can't be sold because it's a 'service rental', which I guess just means a dealership loaner. Since it wasn't actually used (had 7 on the odometer when we test drove), we were good with their option of contacting corporate to free it up for sale. A little more waiting (#5) resulted in the Manager meeting us, telling us again he "couldn't sell it", "hasn't ever seen anything like this before", and of course offering to sell us a different vehicle. He did offer to look for an exact replacement in the coming week, but by that time the depths of incompetence/negligence at this dealership, snail's pace customer service due to staffing shortsightedness, and general distaste for a wasted Saturday (now about 4:30P), we decided to cut bait and head home. Irritated, and without a vehicle. Learn from our mistakes: if they don't have what you need in a timely fashion - do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere. More

I drove almost an hour each way to get there after confirming over the phone with a sales person Michael that there was a Palisade in the colorway and trim I wanted. When I got there, we went through negotiation on the optionals I did not want and valuation of my trade-in. They presented me options on paper and we were going back and forth on options as well as the value of my trade-in. On round #3, they asked me how much of a deposit I wanted to put down. I informed them at this point that I was not financing this deal, I was paying cash. They walked away and when they returned, they informed me that there had been a terrible mistake and that vehicle was actually not available any more was was a "dealer trade". On top of wasting my time, that conclusion was incredibly suspicious on timing (after I declined optionals, negotiated a fair trade-in and revealed they wouldn't be able to sell me their financing products). There are too many other dealerships to have to put up with this. Warning all my friends and family and the many Palisade owner communities out there that keep records of honest and dishonest dealers. More
After having an awful experience with Hyundai New Braunfels, I left in tears and on the way home happened to see this dealership. Once I walked in, Faith Kennedy immediately stepped in to hear my con Braunfels, I left in tears and on the way home happened to see this dealership. Once I walked in, Faith Kennedy immediately stepped in to hear my concerns and help me. She was totally transparent about pricing and honest about what they could offer me. (not to mention sold AT MSRP without markups AND offered me a fair trade on my vehicle) SO REFRESHING to have someone that was so honest and upfront from the beginning. Immediately I trusted her and 3 days later she had me in my dream car!!!! Brady Spiller was also professional and efficient. As a mother of two small children, he made sure that all my paperwork was ready when I arrived to pick up the vehicle and even came to the "play room." At the dealership they have a play area and this is where my little ones were playing. He sat down at the little children's table to have me sign and make it easier on both me and my kids. I had all paperwork signed and completed in FIVE minutes. Wow! Overall, my experience was AMAZING. I can't say enough about Faith Kennedy. It was probably the first time I trusted a car salesperson and felt heard. Thank you! I will most certainly be buying from this dealership again in the future and be telling all my friends and family about my experience! More

I talked to my bank and secured financing, set up shipping. Called back to ask where the paperwork was that I needed to sign and was then told "Oh I think that vehicle sold, what did you want me to do, its whoever signs on the dotted line first". I was waiting for YOU to send me the paper so I could sign on the dotted line!! Never in my car buying history or working for a dealership have I ever seen multiple deals worked on the same car simultaneously and said "first one to sign on the dotted line gets it". Would not recommend this dealer. More
Wow! Steal Hyundai in Kyle was the worst car dealership experience I have ever had. My husband and I have been looking for a fair deal on a new Palisad Steal Hyundai in Kyle was the worst car dealership experience I have ever had. My husband and I have been looking for a fair deal on a new Palisade and were extremely interested in options at this location even though we are about an hour away. We were optimistic after talking to Tony (internet manager?) as he made all sorts of reassuring statements about the vehicle being sold for MSRP, no dealer add ons, market adjustments etc. They will send you emails that say this also! Also that you can work most of the deal online-not true! When we arrived at the dealership we were excited to see they had the exact vehicle on the lot we had been searching for to no avail. We quickly agreed to work numbers. It took about 45 minutes to get figures, both on my trade and the vehicle itself. That’s when my husband and I started feeling like this wasn’t going to be good…mind you they weren’t busy. When the numbers did come back, they offered me the least on my trade by 4-6k. When we talked to the salesman about pulling our trade and selling it ourselves they added dealer add ons. We went through a couple pencils before they would be transparent about something as simple as an out the door price, and when we asked for the second or third time to take out the warranty they had added, they told us no. We asked our salesperson-I thought your dealership didn’t do add ons? He just shrugged and we left. What an absolute colossal waste of time. Being that I’m pregnant, that we had our infant with us, and we had to drive 2 plus hours to be blatantly lied to, I will never come close to this dealership again. If you are looking for a new Palisade, they are lying to you about no dealer add ons. Don’t waste your time. Tony didn’t even have the decency to return our messages after we left. It’s also worth noting that none of the managers stopped to talk to us. I worked in car dealerships for the majority of my twenties and never saw this egregious treatment that we experienced. More

I complained and they said to bring it back in to have it repaired. They took a brush and dappled paint onto the scratch. It looked like a young child had painted it, I refused to accept the repair, so they said to bring it in to have their guy repaint the hood. Two days later after leaving the car I call to check on the status and find that the detail crew was going to "set up" plastic to spray the area. I had to demand they do it professionally and have it done properly in a paint booth by a professional automotive painter. Eight days later I finally get the car back. Eleven days without the car and no car was provided for the inconvenience. 2. I purchased the Roger Beasley plan for oil changes and state inspections. They told me that the oil changes could be performed at the Roger Beasley Georgetown location. I took to Georgetown for the oil change and after about 50 miles driven, the check engine light and oil pressure light illuminates. I immediately stop. I called the Georgetown dealership and told them about the issue. They denied that they would have done anything that might have caused the issue. I had the car towed to Round Rock Hyundai and the service department there found that the Georgetown had installed the wrong oil filter. Fortunately, the Round Rock Hyundai wrote up a report about what they found, and Roger Beasley refunded my cost to Round Rock Hyundai. They were unable to determine if any damage had been done by not having the proper uniquely designed oil filter. Obviously, the service department doesn't pay attention to what they are doing, and the service manager doesn't oversee the training and quality of service. 3. While purchasing a 2016 Sante Fe the salesman told us that all navigation updates are available online free of charge or bring the car in and they will update it for free. I find out that it's not available to update online and that I had to purchase it from Hyundai. I called the dealer, He refused to honor the salesman's commitment to update the system because it's 6 years old. Well, that's why we update, to keep things current. He said they wouldn't honor because the salesman was no longer there and wanted it in writing the promise he made. I said I'd pay the $25.00 cost for a new SD card, but the $18.00 shipping was out of line. They could order it and have it shipped to them as a normal delivery. The manager refused. I love my Hyundai but stay away from Roger Beasley!! More
