Terrible Service under this new Owner. My Wife's Sonata Hybrid lost power doing 60 mph in heavy traffic on Ben White Blvd. Dash warning appeared: Hybrid Battery Failure. then, Turn Off E My Wife's Sonata Hybrid lost power doing 60 mph in heavy traffic on Ben White Blvd. Dash warning appeared: Hybrid Battery Failure. then, Turn Off Engine. It was towed to Steele Hundai/Kyle where their tech guy cleared the warning codes without writing them down. then drove it 50 miles and reported: After two weeks and many calls and failures to return my calls, they said, the warnings did not reappear and said she should drive it until the warnings came on again and presented me with a $250 bill for "evaluation". I could have gotten that advice for free at AutoZone; And A.Zone would have had the good sense to write down the error codes that indicated what the problem is. I've never experienced such distain for their customers and uttler lack of professionality. More
This dealer may have the best prices but you have to jump through hoops to access them & endure sleazy car sales tactics. The difference between the two dealerships is that one focuses on meeting the needs of the customer (Hyundai South Point in Austin) & the other focuses on manipulating the customer (Steele Hyundai Kyle). I bought this car with 5 years 60k miles free oil change and at 38k they have been denying this service and it’s in my Hyundai Protection Plan and made me pay. The manager found the mistake and promised to pay me back in Oct. 23 and I haven’t received the check yet. I go to get another free oil change and get my money back from the last one and after arguing with the first person the new manager comes out and says they don’t honor the previous owner Beaslys contract that they are Steele Hyundai now. I told them it’s still Hyundai’s Protection plan. They still denied it. I called Hyundai Protection plan and they said that Steele has claimed these before for my vehicle and doesn’t understand why they are denying it. It’s accepted in any hyundai nationwide. I want my $$ back! Do not buy from there or get service. They don’t have any knowledge of their business. They even almost ruined my car by not screwing in the oil filter in tightly and all the oil spilled out causing me to get towed. What a nightmare. More

When this was Beasley Hyundai. I bought 3 cars there. Now the service lead times are over a month. The waiting area looks like a dump. Worst dealership experience in 40 years. They are the worst dealer I have ever worked with. I actually purchased a car with these guys and their follow-up is absolutely zero. I have called no less than 5 times in the past three days for my I actually purchased a car with these guys and their follow-up is absolutely zero. I have called no less than 5 times in the past three days for my paperwork which they promised to send to me via email right after the deal was signed. Do take their word on anything. Leave with it what they commit to or don't get it at all. During the deal as well they never called me to tell me that my car did not arrive. I was driving to their dealership and decided to check. They informed me that it didn't arrive and that they would call me when it came in. No apologies for not informing me that the delivery date slipped. If there was this model at another dealership I would have gone there. I predict that when cars are easier to come by, this dealership is toast. No one is going to go there. You've been warned. More
Purchased a Sonata in July with a pre approved check from my own credit union. Ever since I drove off the lot, they have been poor with their service- I don't think majority know how to do their jobs. Th my own credit union. No one is helping me understand what they are doing. Is it lost, is there more info needed, are they just lazy? If that check expires, then what? I also finally just had plates mailed out on Friday (if they actually did it). My husband bought a new vehicle from Toyota a week after me and received his plates a week later. I still have not received mine for over 2 months. The sales manager, James, said there's a state delay which a sales rep confirmed that it was due to them not submitting their paperwork. Overall bad customer service and the overall dealership just doesn't know what they are doing. Stay FAR AWAY. More
