My experience leasing a GMC Acadia through my business was fantastic. Initial contact was made by me online. Jim sent me an email asking a few questions and he followed up with a voicemail. I emailed Jim back with what I was looking for and within a day he sent me a couple of options; I knew from online research that the deals Jim sent me were well below MSRP and they were very competitive. I have to admit that after looking up a few different vehicle makes online the Acadia was probably #3 on my preferred the list but the hassle free, ease of doing business with Lance put them over the top for me. Jim drove the Acadia to my office so I could take a test drive. I liked the car and told Jim to find me one (the one I test drove was almost exactly the model I wanted but not quite). He found me the car, I went to the dealership that night, signed some paperwork with Geoff who was very helpful setting up the lease through my company... and the car was delivered to me a couple of days later. The entire process went off without a hitch, Jim was attentive and made sure I got in the car I wanted, there was no pressure or shady tactics one sometimes sees from other car dealerships. All in all, I'm very happy with everyone at Lance. More
I usually don’t take the time to write reviews, however, I felt compelled to do so. I recently purchased a Buick Regal GS Turbo from Lance Buick GMC. This was my first experience with this dealership and certainly won’t be my last. Initially I set out to buy a Lexus IS250 or Infiniti GS35x, however, the sales people and sales managers at Inskip were rude, insulting, and frankly didn’t really care about selling me a car. After doing some research, I decided to purchase an AMERICAN made car comparable to the Lexus and Infiniti, the Buick Regal GS Turbo. I went to Lance and two other Buick dealerships in Rhode Island, but ended up getting the best price from Lance. Had I known this was going to happen, I would have purchased the car the same day and saved on gas. They were absolutely wonderful. This is definitely a gem of a dealership and I highly recommend them to anyone in the market for a car. And, the Buick Regal is a gem of a car!! More
This dealership was incredibly disappointing. From the first time I spoke with "Stew" on the phone they were able to give little to no information on the car. Bill was very courteous and attentive, and did not pressure me in any way to make a move on a vehicle. Geoff Fales handled the financing and worked quite diligently to make sure the numbers worked. At no time did I feel that "smoke and mirrors" were being used to make the numbers "appear" differently than they really were. They were all very honest and wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase. In fact, I was referred to Bill from two different people in my family that had a great buying experience with him. If you are looking for a new Buick, Pontiac, GMC or even a used auto I would highly recommend taking the trip to Mansfield and visiting Bill at Lance. More
We bought a Pontiac Grand AM 1998 new from then Vicino Pontiac - now Lance Pontiac. One week after we bought the vehicle - the car leaked water and flooded the wells where your feet go in the front and b Pontiac - now Lance Pontiac. One week after we bought the vehicle - the car leaked water and flooded the wells where your feet go in the front and back. They "fixed it" saying it was not properly sealed around the wheel area by the factory. One month later, it happened again and this time they had to strip the car to find 19 leaks. Since then we have brought the car in 5 times over the past 6 years for similar water leaks. On a recent visit, we were told the Gas tank rusted. When I had seen the damage it was isolated to the gas tank touching the vehicle and yes, it was totally rusted. We said this should be under warranty due to excessive leaks from day one. They would not stand behind the vehicle and we paid over $1200 for a new tank. Pontiac themselves would not do anything due to the age and miles the car had. We contend - it was defective from day one and we should have exercised our rights under the Lemon Law for a new vehicle - rather than be convinced to let them fix it. I will never buy a Pontiac or anything from this dealership EVER and do not recommend them to you! More
Car was originally brought to small repair shop for check engine light. 2 codes came up that they could not work with and they refer me to Lance. One code was for secondary air problem, the other a tansmisio engine light. 2 codes came up that they could not work with and they refer me to Lance. One code was for secondary air problem, the other a tansmision problem. <br> The car was at Lance's service department four different times (several days at a time) and not once was the problem rectified. It was always a new problem, never the one it was in for.<br>The car was three years old and had less than 26,000 miles on it!<br> With my husbands very tight work schedule, we needed convinence when it came to car repairs. Lance was located in the next town over from us making things convient, so we thought.<br> I have never had an experience as awul as my experience with Lance! Not only would I recommend staying clear from these people, I have since traded in my oldsmobile vehicle for one of a different make to asure that I will no longer have to deal with this company myself.<br> In a nut shell, Their left hand has no idea what their right is doing. They make empty promises, They use too many excuse, They do not follow through on their diagnosis and complete the work, and they are very eager to take your money. <br> THIS DEALERSHIP CHARGES FOR HEADACHES AS WELL AS THE PROBLEMS THEY CREATE!<br> More
