She worked very hard to get us the deal that we wanted and everyone could live with (so to speak). Your entire staff at Stateline were pleasant. And we both go the trucks that we wanted. Thanks to you and your staff. More
I was shopping on the internet for a special edition Challenger SRT8, which I could not find in my home town of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I found one at this dealership and begun sending emails back and forth Challenger SRT8, which I could not find in my home town of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I found one at this dealership and begun sending emails back and forth on pricing, options, financing and incentives. Phillip Lemp was very quick and thorough in answering ALL of my questions and concerns. After dealing with several other dealerships on this specific car, Stateline was heads and shoulders above the rest. So much so, that I flew into Charlotte airport and was picked up by a salesman and driven to the dealership to pick up my new Challenger SRT8. The entire staff welcomed me and thanked me for coming up from Florida to purchase this car at Stateline Dodge. Filling out the paper work was completed in less than one hour and I was handed the keys to my new special edition 2010 Challenger SRT8 which was detailed and had a full tank of gas. After two fill ups and 10 hours of driving, I was back home in South Florida. I have told this story to all of my friends, family and co-workers with much enthusiasm and I want to thank Phillip Lemp, Jason Harrill and the entire staff at Stateline Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Your dealership will always be recommended and high on my list! Lt. Robert Barea City of Miami Fire Department More
The price and service was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience until it rained the day after I drove the Patriot home and the sunroof leaked onto the stereo. Luckily there was no real damage don great experience until it rained the day after I drove the Patriot home and the sunroof leaked onto the stereo. Luckily there was no real damage done and fixing the leak was covered by the warrenty. I still felt like I was hoodwinked a little, though. More
The actual car salesmen were GREAT! Julio was our main salesman and I think the other guy's name was Richard. He was also really helpful, too. We had quite a pleasant experience until signing paperwork wi salesman and I think the other guy's name was Richard. He was also really helpful, too. We had quite a pleasant experience until signing paperwork with the finance guy (can't remember his name, but he's currently taking over for the guy that was just fired or quit). My husband had already signed the paperwork/contract agreeing to a certain finance rate with 0 down. We have a one year old so I was home with her at the time. Since we bought it together, we went back up one week later (after having the new vehicle for a week) for me to sign my half of the paperwork. On the phone, they said it was as simple as that, I come in and sign my name next to my husband's, then we're done. Well, unfortunately that wasn't the case. They wanted to try and get some more money out of us. While sitting there for about 10-15 minutes in the office with the finance guy on his computer, we were starting to get the sense that this was going to be "fishy business." He finally turns to us after ignoring us for a while and says "in order to get that finance rate, you're going to need to put down $1500." Uh, HELL NO, we already signed the contract for that percentage rate and we have great credit. It was all a lie. Anyways, we told the guy we were leaving and to call us when he finds a way to get it at that rate and we weren't putting ANY more money on it. If they couldn't do it, then they could give us our old car back- we were tired of them anyway. Needless to say, about an hour later, they called us and told us they "had the wrong invoice number and it was all a mistake." Hmmmm... considering the paperwork had our names and all on it, I don't think that's the truth! Oh well, we have a new vehicle and love it, but I'll NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone. Again, though all of the actually salesmen were really nice and truly seemed to be concerned about getting a car we would like and could afford. More
From start to signature this was a fantastic experience. I needed to purchase another vehicle after losing my previous auto in a collision (total loss). I asked the Enterprise salesrep to recommend a dealer I needed to purchase another vehicle after losing my previous auto in a collision (total loss). I asked the Enterprise salesrep to recommend a dealership and was give the number to Stateline located across the street from their office. After speaking with the regional sales mgr (Philip) I made my way to the dealership in Ft. Mill,SC from Columbia,SC over 80 miles. I met Larry from the direct sales team and began a smooth process of test driving vehicles while finance arrangements were completed. Upon selecting the vehicle of my choice I met with Ray in the finance division. Making an immediate connection with this serious yet very friendly fellow, Ray went to work on obtaining acceptable finance terms and creating an exceptional sales package; the same montly payment originally agreed to, Ray was able to provide several warranty options I desired and shortened the monthly term payments by 12 months. This was a first class operation from start to finish and I am proud of the team work exhibited by all the staff involved from reception, valet detail shop, sales, and finance. I commend you all. Thank you sincerely, Tommie A. Banks More
I was forced to go to this dealership after mine had closed (Metrolina). I brought my 2006 Charger in for an oil change and wanted them to look at a piece of molding around my windshield. When I pulle closed (Metrolina). I brought my 2006 Charger in for an oil change and wanted them to look at a piece of molding around my windshield. When I pulled into the service bay, I had to stand there for a while and look like I needed help before someone even approached me. Once they did, they really made it seem like I was in their way. We got the oil change set up and I asked if they could take a quick look at the molding and see if I was going to need to replace it. I was then told that was a service job and they would need to do that separately. I can respect that, but I didn't want it fixed, just wanted someone to take a quick look at it. I offered that as a solution and the service mgr repeated the exact same thing he just told me, another sign that I was obviously not a priority. Having worked in Customer Service for 25 years, this is not the way I treat my clients and certainly don't expect to be treated that way as well. Not only that, but I decided to view the cars on the lot while I was waiting. Now I wasn't planning on buying, but I always like to look. I wandered around the showroom then the lot for at least 10 minutes and was never approached by a salesperson! That never happens, they usually swarm on you, but they weren't busy, that's for sure and no one even acknowledged I was there.....weird. Because of that experience I have decided to take my business to another dodge dealer about 25 miles further away. I even bought a new car spur of the moment from the new dodge dealer, that's too bade for Stateline and myself. They lost a sale and I'm going to another dealer way out of my way. More
I bought a used car last week. I thought the dealership was okay and i definitely wasn't crazy about the sales manager. The salesman is what ultimately helped me make the decision to buy the car. He seemed was okay and i definitely wasn't crazy about the sales manager. The salesman is what ultimately helped me make the decision to buy the car. He seemed friendly not fake and was more real than any other salesmen I've seen in the past. He was referred through a friend who told me he could get me some money off a car for coming and doing business with him...and he did.Overall I'd say find a dealer you like, not a dealership. More
The salesman and sales manager lied to my face on several things - including interest rate availability. They also told me they couldn't - and wouldn't - sell my trade, which put a strain on negotiating the things - including interest rate availability. They also told me they couldn't - and wouldn't - sell my trade, which put a strain on negotiating the trade value (my car's out front a week later, with a nice big window sticker). These guys are friendly, but what sleezy car salesman isn't? Stay away, I'd rather puch the sales manager than talk to him again. Unfortunately I'm an impulse-buyer and did more work after the sale than before the sale. Stay away, you'll be better for it. More
