We bought our mini-van in June 2010 to have a reliable vehicle to take my 2 yr old daughter for cancer treatments in Philaelphia (from Charlotte). Within a few months we experienced the van spontaneously vehicle to take my 2 yr old daughter for cancer treatments in Philaelphia (from Charlotte). Within a few months we experienced the van spontaneously turning off causing us to lose all steering & brakes. We took it back to the Stateline Dealership several times and they said there was nothing wrong with it. When I explained my concern for our upcoming trip to Philly, I was advised by the service rep to "drive slowly in the right hand lane". Upon our return we received a recall notice for this very problem. The dealer replaced the recalled parts but our van was still turning off and putting us into dangerous situations. We took it back and they found a problem but said it was not one of the recalled parts so they charged us full cost of repair. 2 days later the car turned off as I was pulling up to a stop sign to enter Hwy 601. Because i had no power, no brakes, no steering I almost went under the 2 tractor trailers but instead was able to run onto an island to stop. The car has been at the dealer ever since and they have not been able to fix it. They have told us that because the car now has high mileage that there is nothing they can do. According to their service records we started bringing the van to them at 20,000 miles for this problem. No one will give us the name of the owner of the dealership and we are receiving NO HELP with this situation. They had a salesman call us to sell us a new mini-van. My concern is that they are going to re-sell this very dangerous dodge Caravan to another unsuspecting family. Watch out for VIN # 2D4RN5DX9AR145979 More
As a first-time buyer of a vehicle, I found this experience to be not only very rewarding, but also educational and informative about the trade. I walked into the dealership expecting to only get a experience to be not only very rewarding, but also educational and informative about the trade. I walked into the dealership expecting to only get a better understanding of the cars I had been researching, but I ended up walking out with a new car, thanks to the helpfulness and dedication of the employees I worked with throughout the day. Thank you very much for all of the time and effort the employees brought to the showroom! More
I have been searching for an 2013 ram laramie with specific options for the past four months. I stopped in at Stateline CJD the previous week and told the salesperson Greg Radulsk what I was looking f specific options for the past four months. I stopped in at Stateline CJD the previous week and told the salesperson Greg Radulsk what I was looking for. He introduced me to a manager who said they could get what I wanted if we could negotiate the deal now. In response to his offer I told him that when he had the vehicle on his lot I would be willing to negotiate. I didnt hear from them for a week and assumed that they wouldnt be getting the vehicle. Over the weekend I was searching the Stateline dealership website and saw that they had the exact vehicle listed. On Monday I called Greg and he promised to call me back once he found out more information about the vehicle. True to his word he called within the promised thirty minutes and informed me that the vehicle was not at their lot but was on its way and being delivered that night and that I should come and see if we can work a deal. I went to the dealership at 4:00 pm Monday afternoon and met with Greg and started the negotiations. I informed him that I wanted to trade my vehicle and what I expected to pay for their vehicle. Greg involved another one of the managers at Stateline and the negotiations were continued. Everything was cordial and we agreed on a deal and shook hands. Later I was taken to the finance office to sign the paperwork for my new truck. I signed over the title to my truck and wrote a $3245.00 check for my down payment. By the time I left it was 8 pm and the vehicle had not been delivered so I agreed to come back the next day to pick up the vehicle. Greg called me the next day to inquire about my arrival to pick up the vehicle because he wanted to put gas in the truck and grab some lunch which was fine by me. I was finally able to get away around 3:30 pm and spent an hour emptying my tool box so that I could trade the vehicle. I asked if my 11 year old son would like to go with me to pick up my new truck and he excitedly agreed. I had been looking for this truck for four months and finally I was on my way to pick it up. When we arrived at Stateline I gave my truck keys to Greg and he led us towards my new truck which was parked in the sold cars parking spot. As we were walking towards the vehicle Greg told me that they had given me new floor mats and five years of free maintanance to which I responded by saying thank you but why and thats when he casually said the truck had 700 miles on it!!! I was stunned that they had kept this information from me until the very last moment and had led me to believe I was getting a brand new truck for which I was paying over $42,000.00!! I refused to go through with the deal and left with my son both of us extreemely disappointed and very upset. I called Greg to impress upon him how upset I was that he had not informed me of the miles on the vehicle to which he answered that he didnt know and that the truck was a dealer exchange and had been driven those miles to get it here. About two hours later I received a call from a mr Tom Jordan who told me that it was hs understanding that I was upset with the deal because it had 700 miles on it. I told him that they had been dishonest by keeping this information from me and denying me the option to choose whether I wanted a used vehicle. He insisted that it was a regular occurance that they would purchase vehicles from other dealers as a dealer exchange and they would drive them hundreds of mile back to their location and they never used a transportation vehicle. I'm stunned that a New Car manager expected me to accept and pay for a used vehicle as if I was purchasing a new vehicle! I would ask you the potential new vehicle buyer how you would react under the same circumstances. How would you feel if a dealership wasted two days of your time knowing full well how many miles were on the vehicle and not sharing that information with you? If its such a normal occurance why would they voluntarily give me a Five Year maintanance program and floor mats free of charge?? When did you ever hear of a dealership giving anything away if they didnt have to? All I can say is Buyer Beware!! I would like to add that this was not Gregs doing since his manager controled the entire negotiations! More
Ram truck I agreed to purchased was not what was delivered, missing options CD player, back up camera, crome trim, floor mats, etc.Getting these issues resolved turned into a nightmare. I was without my delivered, missing options CD player, back up camera, crome trim, floor mats, etc.Getting these issues resolved turned into a nightmare. I was without my truck for seven days and the work was not done. After threating legal action and demanding the truck I ordered.I was given the right Ram 1500. This was the worst auto buying experience I have even had in 40 years of purchasing cars. I will never set foot on Stateline dodges lot again More
My wife and I are expecting our first child in June and I needed a bigger truck. I was driving a Ford Ranger, but now needed full size truck to fit my growing family. I was considering used trucks at other needed a bigger truck. I was driving a Ford Ranger, but now needed full size truck to fit my growing family. I was considering used trucks at other dealerships, but was recommended to this dealership by a relative. I was able to leave the dealership with a new truck for a lower payment than I would have had with a used one. Joe French did everything in his power to get me the truck I wanted at a payment I could afford. Anytime I know someone needs a truck, I will be sending them to Joe at Stateline! More

Dennis was very knowledgable about his products and was extremely friendly and there was absolutely no "Sales Pressure". Over-all, I have to say this was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had when extremely friendly and there was absolutely no "Sales Pressure". Over-all, I have to say this was the most enjoyable experience I have ever had when purchasing a car. He seemed to have my best interest in mind while working with me and did several small things to make the whole process run smooth. ( from offering snacks and drinks.....to letting me drive one of the prospective units home with me to pick up my grandson at school!) After the sale, he washed the car and filled up the tank and even assisted in moving all the "stuff" from our old vehicle to the newly purchased one. Dennis even put the transferred tag on the new vehicle......in my opinion, he went "above and beyond" during the entire process. I do want to mention two others who helped in the process ....the Used Car Sales manager ( Terrell Johnson) and the young man who assisted us in the financing part of the transaction.....he got us a very favorable interest rate at Coastal Federal Credit Union and even made the offer so additional insurance very easy.....sorry, I can't remember his name....but, I think he was the only finance guy there. I definitely will highly recommend StateLine Chrysler/Jeep to my friends for a great car-buying experience. SIGNED, Dr. Samul B. Eller More
