So far, so good! I wandered in on a busy Saturday and Walix and the team took the time to help me find just what I wanted at a fair price. Delivery of 2018 Grand Cherokee Highlander I did my homework on vehicle for 2-weeks and ended up at StateLine because they had the exact vehicle and color I was looking for. Upon arrival on Th I did my homework on vehicle for 2-weeks and ended up at StateLine because they had the exact vehicle and color I was looking for. Upon arrival on Thursday morning August 16th it was brought to my attention that vehicle was being used by a manager as a demo. No big deal, vehicle had 1523 miles on it. I sit down and make the deal, put down $300.00 and went back that evening to complete sale (paperwork). I was told in full confidence that the vehicle would be reconditioned as if it had 0 miles on it. I told them I was not in a rush to pick up the vehicle cuz there was a few things that needed to be done besides the reconditioning. 6-days later on Wednesday August 22nd I’m told I have an appointment to take delivery of the vehicle at 6:00 pm. When I arrived vehicle was not ready and told it was still being detailed. 45- minutes later vehicle was pulled up. My wife and I inspect the interior of vehicle and find 2- empty packs of cigarette’s in center console which I brought to sales manager, ( I was told that no one smoked in the vehicle) there was white dust in the leather crevices of seats which we determined the following day to be cigarette ashes and a sticky substance on passenger seat in a few spots which I was able to remove with my finger nail. No floor mats which was one of the things I stressed I wanted before I took delivery. At 7:00 pm floor mats are found and installed and 2nd key had to be located and handed to us as well. No one took time to deliver the vehicle professionally. We were not shown how to operate any of the vehicles features what so ever before we left. The next day my wife uses the vehicle’s cabin Ac System and it reeks of cigarette smoke. We are both none smokers and it’s a horrible smell in a $50,000.00 vehicle. Since then I have been in touch with 2- GM’s (Al Viera and Damon Massey) and expressed my dissatisfaction and unpleasant experience with the service I was given. They are picking the vehicle up at my house on Friday August 24th to do a full recondition once again. My wife expressed that she wants the cabin air filters changed as well. Hopefully this rectify’s the smell in the vehicle. If everything is taken care of correctly I’ll be sure to adjust my rating.. More
