Shameful. My Hummer was leaking oil and instead of running the dye test to see where the leaks were coming from, they recommend engine overhaul for $11,000. Th My Hummer was leaking oil and instead of running the dye test to see where the leaks were coming from, they recommend engine overhaul for $11,000. The vehicle is worth less than $6,000. So, I went elsewhere for second opinion. That shop did actually did the dye test to see where the leaks were coming from and they found I only needed $150 worth of gaskets to stop the oil leak. After doing the $150 gasket job, no more oil leaks. So needless to say, I will never darken Starlings doorstep ever again. More
