I've requested the additional warranty to be canceled well over a year ago and to date I keep getting the runaround. Calling consistently does no good and to date still no resolution! They went as fa well over a year ago and to date I keep getting the runaround. Calling consistently does no good and to date still no resolution! They went as far as to try and sell me a car without resolving my current long lasting issue- told them that I would not be doing business with them again and that it's poor business practice for me to have to keep calling wasting my time to get nowhere. I will be contacting the Department of Consumer Affairs and any other agency I can get involved in resolving my issue. We should be able to bill them for the amount of time spent trying to get them to do a simple task that should've been done over a year ago. Simply will not do business with them again & they could have gotten another sale from me because I'm in the process of buying a new vehicle. More
It has been nothing but issues with the deal from day one. The day I bought it they got an approval from Westlake and owed me $1900 from the cancelation on a warranty on my trade in. A week later they st one. The day I bought it they got an approval from Westlake and owed me $1900 from the cancelation on a warranty on my trade in. A week later they stated that there was an issue with the original contract and that Westlake needed the $1900 to pay for the deal and when I contacted Westlake I was informed that there was a mileage issue on the contract and not that they needed more money down. Then a week later I drove up to Memphis TN for school. On the way up there, I had the windshield seal fail and its hanging off the car. A few days later I had an issue with the tire losing a lot of air and that was a self-fixed issue. At that point I contacted the dealership again and told them that when I get back to town, I was going to bring the car by to get fixed. Then a few days after that a lot of problems started happening, first I got a warning light about the key not being in the car even though it was in motion, then on Saturday October 22, I drove the car to school and when I went to move it the car would not start and was acting like the battery was dead or their was an issue with the alternator. When I went to inspect the battery to jump start it I discovered at least four inches of battery acid leaked out on the positive battery cable and no matter what the car would not start or anything. It was towed to AutoNation Ford that day and David Hendricks was the service advisor. A few days later I get a call from David saying that the entire charge system needed to be replaced because it was so corroded that the tech could not even remove the cable without it falling apart and the lift gate actuator and assembly needed to be replaced plus and issue with the engine idle shut-down callout. When I asked him about the issue timing because I only had the car for a month or less he said that this issue was not days or weeks in the making but several months to over a year in the making. When I called Starling on Monday about the issue and the cost of the repair being $3000 I was told by Joe Momin that they will not pay $3000 to fix the car and I asked why sell the car if you wouldn’t pay to fix it. After a few days of discussion Starling agreed to pay half of the repair bill and I would pay half I just had to pay them $749.50 and they would send a check over night to AutoNation to fix it that was supposed to be there Saturday. The original repair bill was $1499 then they got the repair cheaper saving them from paying as much as original agreed and forcing me to pay more behind my back. First they sent a check for $471.55 that got there Monday morning and made a note that the customer would pay the difference. I contacted Starling again and they said it was a human error and they would send another check over night for the difference. When I got the final bill it turned out that Starling got a cheaper repair rate and saved them a lot of money but still forced me to pay to original amount. The car had been ready for pick up since Friday and I didn’t get to go home until Tuesday. I got home on 11/3 at 3am because of their issues it ended up costing me $1242.24 in the repair fee, extra night in the hotel, and extra days for the pet sitter. I then had the A/C system go out on the car and the mirrors will not stay in position. The car is not safe to drive but they sold it anyways. I went the other day to talk to them about replacing it and the sales man stated and I quote “We did not know about the issues when we sold it to you” I asked about was the car inspected and they stated yes so it is obvious that this is a failure on the dealers part the car should have never been sold in its stated but they are doing everything they can to not have to pay anything and put it on the customer to repair or replace. I told them I would be fair and just replace the car for what I bought it for and buy a new 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT and just forget about it. When they submitted the deal they said I would need to get an extra $6000 down or pick a used car under $20K and use my down payment on my old car plus $4000 in a warranty refund and I don’t want to do that I want at least some money back. I gave them the option to work on it and make things right but I was told that there is nothing that can be done because of the banks. I have asked several times for my money back and even talked to the bank and they would like me to return it and get my money back and buy from somewhere else but Starling keeps trying to force me to purchase from them when I want to just take my business elsewhere. Fast forward to today the car is still having issues and now the dealership refuses to even talk to me or fix the powertrain issue. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE IF YOU WANT A SIMPLE BUYING EXPERIENCE. More
We have loyal Chevy buyers for years. We purchased our last 2 Chevy vehicles from this dealer. As we soon discovered, my car was a lemon. I have multiple issues over the last 4 years. Taking the car to last 2 Chevy vehicles from this dealer. As we soon discovered, my car was a lemon. I have multiple issues over the last 4 years. Taking the car to their service department, which is terrible. They never return phone calls. You wait for weeks to get a response, etc. We decided to buy a new car and even with all the issues we returned to them. We were upfront about all the issues we had with my car. And also mentioned we bought it and my husbands car from them. They came back offering us over $3000 less than the KBB Fair trade in value for my car. We were outraged. I wrote an email to the general manager, explaining our situation and how we were treated, after our continued loyalty and honesty. I never received a response. RUN far and fast from this dealership!! More

From start to finish, it only took around 45 minutes and 30 of those was me going back and forth on which unit I actually wanted to take home. Rob showed me the inventory on the Mt Pleasant lot as well as their lot in Orlando Florida. I look forward to doing more business with this company but only if Rob Farish is my salesman. Thank you Rob and thank you Starling Chevrolet Mt P. Larry West More

First Class All The Way I went to Starling and was greeted by Rob Farish. I was not sure if I would be able to trade because of my negative equity and low credit. However Rob I went to Starling and was greeted by Rob Farish. I was not sure if I would be able to trade because of my negative equity and low credit. However Rob picked out the perfect brand new Chevrolet Colorado that would work with my situation and instead of leaving in a used one in which I came for I left in a new one. I knew right from the start he was the man I needed to help me. There simply cannot be a more classy, knowledgeable or professional car man than Rob Farish. I highly recommend him and Starling Chevy ! Now a customer of Rob's for life. More

We had been to at least 5 different dealerships and Starling was by far the most enjoyable, easy, pleasant one to work with. They were honest, truly cared to find out exactly what our needs were, and worked hard to meet them. After our purchase we discovered a shaking at high speeds and Starling immediately fixed the tire issue at no extra charge to us. Best customer service EVER. Amelia is so knowledgeable in cars and she is an extremely genuine person. I would absolutely go to her for help in finding my next vehicle. More
Time is money - Mt. Pleasant I live in Mt. Pleasant and have been looking to purchase a suburban , with the traffic in Charleston county out of control and especially savannah hi I live in Mt. Pleasant and have been looking to purchase a suburban , with the traffic in Charleston county out of control and especially savannah highway , I pulled into starling Chevy and met sales associate rob farish, I told rob what I wanted and what I had to trade, Rob was a great listener more than a talker . They gave me more money for my truck on trade than two other dealers in cola and in west Ashley , I was in and out of the dealership with good riddance of my old truck and in the suburban in two hours with all paperwork complete. The popcorn machine and diet cokes made for an even better experience. More
