Refreshingly Painless Experience I had recently moved across the country and was in need of a vehicle. I had put off purchasing for weeks dreading the whole experience. When we pulled up to Mount Pleasant Chevrolet, we were greeted by Rob Farish. Thanks to him, I have finally experienced the painless, no-pressure experience that other dealers tout, but somehow never materializes. Rob was actually familiar with the features of my specific vehicle, which was a first for me. And, with most other sales reps, the relationship ends as soon as you drive off the lot. But, Rob has followed up with me on several occasions, just to make sure I was happy with my new Colorado. He’s also personally handled the interaction with the service department to have my accessories installed. When he found that I was having some difficulty setting up an appointment, I had a call from the manager of the service department within minutes. The focus wasn’t on up-selling for a change. I’ve felt Rob and the finance manager were conscience of the fact that I was trying to stick with a certain budget. And I was in and out of the dealership in less than three hours. Rob truly sets the bar by which other sales representatives should be measured. I only wish that I was fortunate enough to have him broker some of the hellish car-buying deals I’ve suffered through in the past. More
