Broken mirror, they wanted $400 My passenger side view mirror hit a garbage can left in the road by the garbage truck directly in front of me. I couldn't have been moving 10 mph. The My passenger side view mirror hit a garbage can left in the road by the garbage truck directly in front of me. I couldn't have been moving 10 mph. The housing snapped in toward the window, and the mirror cracked, and shattered and the heater/motor, which snaps in, came away from the housing. I took it in for a quote. I waited half an hour and was quoted $288 for a new housing assembly, a minimum 1 hour labor to remove the door panel, plus $75 to $80 for paint! (There is a tiny spot, smaller than the tip of my pinky finger, on the mirror housing where the paint chipped off.) I told them no, and left. When I asked a body shop to look at it, Starling had already removed the heater/motor from the back of the glass and reattached it in the housing...as I said, it snaps in! Meaning they DO NOT need to disassemble the door, NOR did they need a new housing or heater/motor! ALL I NEED IS A NEW PIECE OF GLASS that SNAPS onto the heater/motor, and a tiny dab of touch up paint! They HEAVILY PADDED their estimate, and likely would have charged me the full $360 estimate, plus anything else they thought they could add to the bill! I might be a female, but I'm NOT stupid! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE FOR SERVICE HERE! Unless you like to pay extra to be lied to and cheated! More
Excellent service to Canadians Brought out new 2018 Tahoe in as the A/C was not working. Despite being literally overwhelmed with demands from clients and a 2 hour wait, David Hern Brought out new 2018 Tahoe in as the A/C was not working. Despite being literally overwhelmed with demands from clients and a 2 hour wait, David Hernandez of their service department provided us with answers and solutions to our dilemma above and beyond the call to duty. Polite, uderstanding of our being out of country and on vacation, skilled with information and an honest forthright approach as to what they could do and which was note in the cards for that day was refreshing instead of a bunch of empty promises. As a life time GM owner I know the service guy on the front line gets all the complaints about the manufacturer who is a distant apparition .in stressful situations. David is first class and should held as a valued employee.by Starling. Patrick and Susan Johnston Ontario Canada More

bad customer realtionships i purchased a used 2007 chrysler town and country in january 2016. the engine blew up 7 months later and they would not even help me with replacing it i purchased a used 2007 chrysler town and country in january 2016. the engine blew up 7 months later and they would not even help me with replacing it. they were rude, nasty and they threw me out of the dealership.they said it was my problem. my mechanic said that they had to have know about the engine being bad when they sold it to me. they told me that the car was not worth any money with a bad engine so they would not even put me in another car. and give me an allowance toward another one. They found the truck that I wanted right away. I went on line just to see what try is Sterling Chevrolet had in stock. Guy saw that I was looking in a chat box and ask me what I was interested in. I went on line just to see what try is Sterling Chevrolet had in stock. Guy saw that I was looking in a chat box and ask me what I was interested in. I briefly stated the color and equipment that I wanted. Guy suggested that I drive down to see him in person. I was not wanting to make the 45 minute drive to see trucks, but I am glad that I did. The dealer made the shopping painless. They found what I wanted and had it at the dealer in two days. Thanks Again, Donald Vick More

Horrible Experience! I visited the dealership on 11/5/2017. I had a scheduled 11:30am appointment to see a 2005 Corvette. Upon arrival I waited for my "sales person" but I visited the dealership on 11/5/2017. I had a scheduled 11:30am appointment to see a 2005 Corvette. Upon arrival I waited for my "sales person" but was told he was not available and that a different sales person would assist me. He was a nice young guy but he later admitted that he had only been at the dealership for about 2 weeks. He told me he needed my license and that he would get the car, standard protocol. After about 10 mins he came back and told me now he needed to run around the lot to find the car. He was not kidding, he was literally running around the lot, I watched him circle the entire area until he was no longer insite. He reappeared a few minutes later with I have good news, and bad news. The good news was he located the car, the bad news was he did not know where the key was, so this would take some more time. He escorted us out to show us the car, that we could not get in but could still look at while he went on a mission to locate the key. After about 10 more minutes he again reappeared with another good news, bad news scenario. Good news was that he had located the key, bad new was (and he prefaced this with "the car has not been serviced and brought up to Starling standards yet", odd since the car has been on auto trader for at least a week and I had a scheduled appointment to see this specific car), anyway the bad news it will not crank however it is not because of any mechanical issue. Now call me crazy but I'm not sure what else would cause it not to crank, accept a mechanical issue? So after driving from DeBary to Kissimmee, waiting for about 30+ minutes total, for a SCHEDULED appointment, I was able to see the outside of the car, finally the inside of the car but obviously could not hear it run nor take a test drive. I really felt sorry for this young sales person as he was clearly hung out to dry by his peers and management. Never did anyone offer to help him as he was obviously struggling with a bad situation and no manager offered to apologize. In reading previous reviews I see this is a fairly consistent issue at this shop, you would think someone would get this cleaned up but evidently it is considered acceptable customer service. Since I am the GM at a very successful sales company I know this would not be something I would tolerate. I'm only mad at myself for not reading the reviews sooner. I did send a follow up email to my imaginary sales person but predictably I did not hear back. The good news is that I think the car is what I'm looking for, the bad news I would have to deal with this dealership to purchase it. Rod Keller 407-415-9499 More
