I found a vehicle I wanted, put a deposit on it, signed the buyers order which was also signed by the used car sales manager, and they sold the vehicle out from under me four hours later. I put a deposit on the vehicle as it was a saturday afternoon and my credit union was not open. Thet knew I was seriously purchasing the vehicle and I would have the deal funded on the coming monday, as I certainly was not going to walk away from a substantial deposit. My salesman, Bill M. was very apologetic and said he has never seen this happen in his 30 years of experience. I have never heard of this happening in my 20+ years of buying cars (I have owned over 20 in 20+ years). This was a sleazy thing to pull and they wasted a lot of my valuable time. The dealership offered nothing to make it right. I did of course get my deposit back, but only after 3 days wait. I have no problem with the salesman, just the sales manager and dealership in general. Heck, Bill lost his sales commision on the deal. More
