In the past I always had leased directly with a dealership however this time, due to various suggestions from friends and family, I decided to try out a leasing company. Worst decision ever. The car I wanted was not an easy find, and the leasing company who promised me the car and I wanted and then ultimately couldn't deliver, I decided to go to a dealership. The first was DANA LINCOLN in Staten Island, the dealership closest to my home. HORRIBLE. Do NOT go in there. The manager was extremely rude and condescending. I was at a loss and finally I said I will give it one more shot to get the car I really want - I decided to call Ford in Queens (nearest to my parents home) and was lucky enough to have Liz Girnus answer the phone. My god, what a breath of fresh air!!!!! From beginning to end Liz was the IDEAL person to work with. She listened to what I wanted, was able to lock down the exact car I wanted and it was the smoothest deal me and my fiance ever made. The price was perfect (even better than the leasing company AND Dana Lincoln) and I didn't even have to tell her what my original offer was.
