Painless New Car Purchase I was looking for an 2016 Lincoln MKX Reserve with a hitch and the technology package. After doing some research I put my requirements on TrueCar.com. I was looking for an 2016 Lincoln MKX Reserve with a hitch and the technology package. After doing some research I put my requirements on TrueCar.com. I received a few inquiries from various dealers. Tom Cinelli of Ford Lincoln of Queens was one of them who contacted me by email and gave me an offer that I thought looked good in comparison to the MRSP. I contacted a few other dealers and no one was interested in competing with Tom's price. I was a little skeptical that there were no catches in Tom's offer but after a few emails back and forth I accepted his offer. However, I still needed time to sell my GMC Acadia. After a couple of weeks, my best offer was from another dealer for my used Acadia. I asked Tom if he would do a courtesy trade in, whereby I traded in my car to Tom and he immediately sells it to my dealer buyer at the same price. He checked and was able to do it. This accommodation saved my over $2,000 in sales taxes. I met the buyer at Tom's dealership and we did the exchange. No need to go the the DMV as my plates transferred. So I have to say that it was a seamless transaction and I was very happy with the price, the transaction and the atmosphere at the dealership.
