I ordered on 7.12.202 me. I came 9am. He said the car was sold out at 10am when I came 9am there. He showed me another higher price car. I said "No". I ordered on 7.12.2024. He didn't communicate with me properly in the mean time before showing the estimate date. He is very unprofessional and untrusty. I don't know what happened to him. Very unsatisfactory this time. He wasn't like the before. More

If only negative stars were an option. There are warnings everywhere. Listen to the reviews- save yourself time and money. Avoid Star Toyota/Services like the plague. There are hundreds, i There are warnings everywhere. Listen to the reviews- save yourself time and money. Avoid Star Toyota/Services like the plague. There are hundreds, if not thousands of garages in Queens alone. Anyone can get you OEM parts and BETTER car servicing. Do yourself a favor and don't glaze over the bad reviews. There's so much more truth to them than you know. Biggest regret is giving them the benefit of the doubt. Things seemed alright the day of dropping off my car- people were responsive and kept me in the loop. It quickly went downhill. They stop answering, they give you the run around and ignore you until you nearly give up. A $500 something sensor diagnostic turned into nearly a $3,000 replacement. I was out of town and couldn't get my car. I took the chance and the HUGE loss; my mistake. I was starting to come to terms with the the burn in my pocket- up until I started noticing a few things. Damages all in different areas of the car. Interior and exterior. For reference this is a purchased car, not a lease. Surprise, surprise, they took no responsibility. I had asked for reasonable solutions- either help repair the damages or provide a partial reimbursement so I can have someone else fix it. All I get are BS excuses- if you don't know much about parts, they'll take advantage of that. There is no transparency. They'll whisper to each other right in front of you. They told me they could help me if I paid them another $1,500 for replacement parts/repairs. If that's not a big F U to the face then I don't know what is. I'm warning you as a friend or family member would. Use them at your own risk- the reviews I've read in the past are now glaring "I TOLD YOU SO". Should've listened after seeing hundreds of warnings from other individuals that got screwed over. I am surprised there hasn't been a civil suit filed. This needs to be considered. Alex, Robert, Nelson and the girl with bad attitude at the lounge/payment desk - you are all in the customer service and REPAIR sphere. Do your job, not the opposite of it. More

Gilbert offered me a fair deal and actually gave me options. I choose the deal that worked the best for me. Gilbert was honest during the whole transaction. Nothing changed when I picked up the vehicle. The price was as discussed. Would definitely work with Gilbert again. More
Returned 2019 corolla on 3/21 and leased a 2022 corolla. As of 4/11 I am still being invoiced including late fee now, for 2019 corolla. My final lease payment was 2/26. I also received notification from As of 4/11 I am still being invoiced including late fee now, for 2019 corolla. My final lease payment was 2/26. I also received notification from my insurance carrier that NYS DMV has no record of the 2022 corolla being registered. Great! Now I'm driving an unregistered vehicle. I notified my salesman, Gilbert Martin, verbally and in writing. After waiting three days to hear some resolution/follow up from Gilbert, I called and texted again. When I finally reached him, he responded like he had just been informed of these concerns and said, " I will walk it across the street" whatever that means, I guess he's still walking. As of 4/11, after contacting Toyota financial, they informed me they have no record that the 2019 corolla was returned and asked who my salesman was and why wasn't he helping me with this. Good question. In the meantime I am still trying to find out if my 2022 Corolla has finally been registered with NYS DMV. Quick to take your money, but not to resolve or at least update your client regarding these important issues. If your stuck dealing with Gregg in finance, make sure he doesn't use the excuse the paperwork has been streamlined to avoid going over all the documents. Neither Gilbert nor Gregg had the professional courtesy to inform me ahead of time that tax is now being added to my monthly payment. I have been leasing cars for over 15 years and never had an add on from the originally agreed upon monthly payment fee. When I questioned Gregg he responded like it's always been this way. No! It has not! Margaret P More
I recently brought a used car virtually based off of good faith. The saleman assured me that the car did not have any major scratches. As a matter of fact he sent me videos saying no scratches’. When I rec faith. The saleman assured me that the car did not have any major scratches. As a matter of fact he sent me videos saying no scratches’. When I received the car he tried to blame the scratches on the auto transporter. Luckily the transporter took pictures of the scratches at the dealership. Same yourself a headache don’t buy from this dealerships. They will lie just to sell you a car. No integrity. I will see you in court. Don’t buy from this deal. More
Service department is crap - Alex the shops service manager is unprofessional and becomes defensive when you find out they cut corners. Don’t waste your time here, very unprofessional, they will put yo manager is unprofessional and becomes defensive when you find out they cut corners. Don’t waste your time here, very unprofessional, they will put your life in danger with the crap work they do and then blame the customer when you find out the problem. Won’t call you back and just kick you to the curb. I am happy to post this review here for other people to be warned about their shoddy service and unprofessionalism, rather than getting any reimbursement. They should really do an internal audit of their employees. Very very bad. Photos show corrosion that the shop ignored then slapped my so called rotated tires back on to only have them almost fall off while I was driving on a highway. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. After I checked the price on Star toyata website and talked with Alonso (Sales representative) he asked me to come to Star Auto Sales of Bayside, I decided to go there on a whim. I made a deal with Sean Hoque (pre-owned specialist) to purchase for Rav 4 LE. The very same day I paid the deposit of $500 and did all the paperwork. They even called Geico Insurance for me and made our car insured on Thursday of August 12. After they hard pulled our credit, financial manager Ray Berrios (the rudest person who thinks he is privileged to spit any lie) offered me to finance the car for 4.6% APR and assured nothing can beat that price; however, when I later told him that I was offered 2.9% APR by my credit union this guy went mad and started yelling. Anyway, after contemplating for a while I agreed to pay 4.6% APR and informed Sean (Sales manager) that I want to pay and take the car the same day. But I came to find out that this egoistic arrogant guy, Ray Berrios (Financial Manager) blocked the car sale and went home without any notice. I assume he just didn’t like us. Sean however assured like five times that the car is ours since we already paid the deposit and is insured. Surprisingly, when I went to pick up the car today (Aug 14), after an hour wait, Sean told that Ray Berrios advised him that the car is sold which he couldn’t confirm though. In a little agitated voice, I admitted that they just wasted two days of my life for which Ray Berrios threatened me to call a cop and immediately leave his store. I am not gonna take this lightly and will definitely sue since they took my deposit, made me do all paperwork, hard pulled my credit and made me insure the car with an insurance company. What I don’t understand is how can such an unprofessional person like Ray Berrios represent one of the biggest car companies. It’s a shame!!!!!! More
