Express Service I made an appointment for express service. The staff that greeted me was professional and cordial. Although they promise the service would be complete I made an appointment for express service. The staff that greeted me was professional and cordial. Although they promise the service would be completed within an hour, my service was completed in under 2 hours because they found a minor issue ( filter changes) that they asked if I wanted completed. The only downside was that there was not enough seating in the waiting area and no coffee! Overall, not a bad way to spend a morning. More

Phil came out early to explain that they were running late due to the previous appointment arriving very late. In the meantime, he had people work on my lease return. When James arrived from a prior engagement, he took the time to set up the new features of my car, as well as explain new safety features like lane departure warning. When it came to meeting Mike DeCosimo to explain the finances, he also mentioned lease insurance, which I declined. Mike never gave me the hard sell or pressured me to getting it. Overall it was great customer experience and I will continue to return to Star Subaru. More
Amazing Forester Sport Andy Wang was professional in his treatment of myself and my daughter. We were both returning our Subaru’s and le was in another. These cars our 6th and 7th Subaru’s purchased from Star. Our experience with Star goes back to the previous owners. Yet we were treated as loyal customers and accorded all the perks of returning customers. Many thanks to Andy Wong who recognized our loyalty to Subaru and worked his hardest to earn our loyalty to the new Star Subaru. My daughter and I could not have been more pleased at how Andy made us the best deals possible. We will returning to Star for our next cars. More
Leased the new 2019 Subaru Ascent- 7 Passenger SUV I called to inquire about availability on the 2019 Ascent 8 Passenger in a specific color for the exterior/interior. Good service My service is always great. My only complaint was that I was not asked about my air filter. My car was confused with another car. I was not asked abo My service is always great. Excellent service center I took my Subaru into the service center for an oil, lube, filter, etc. Everyone I dealt with did a superb job; the person who signed me up for servic I took my Subaru into the service center for an oil, lube, filter, etc. Everyone I dealt with did a superb job; the person who signed me up for service did so quickly and told me how long the service would take. Ten minutes before my service was finished, I was told how long it would be before they were finished with my car. Finally, I was told in detail what the inspection results revealed. I am very satisfied and will return there for my next service. More
Expect to be taken I have regularly brought my vehicle to Star since it was brand new for service. After my latest interaction I will never return. They informed me that my air filter and cabin filter would require replacement at the next service. They told me this last time as well, so I replaced them about a month ago. They are brand new OEM filters purchased directly from Subaru. I asked to speak to the service manager and was told simply “He’s not here today”. Ok, please take my information and have him call me. I’m not a betting man, but if I was, I’d put my money on; that message never made it beyond the post-it note it was written on.. In short- Is the service department suggesting that Subaru of America is selling defective parts? Or are they trying to make a quick buck off an unsuspecting customer? If they’re saying they inspected the filters and really didn’t, what else did they say they did which ended up not happening (ie- tire rotation) These are questions I have for the service manager which will, seemingly, go unanswered. Either way, I’ll have my vehicle serviced elsewhere from now on. More
