Service department was unable to analyze and fix problem. Could not figure reason for problem. Same problem resulted in replacing transmission 6 months ago. No Disgnostic codes this time. Beware car would not start after picking up car Bought my 14 outback in for 60’000 schedule maintenance. No pressure to get it done. However after dropping off the car they called me later that day Bought my 14 outback in for 60’000 schedule maintenance. No pressure to get it done. However after dropping off the car they called me later that day to say that they need to do two additional service plus adjust my parking brakes. I gave them the ok to do the two but not the parking brakes. Truth is I have never used my parking brakes so can’t imagine why it would need adjusting. They kept car overnight. Next day picked up car and noticed the diagnostic sheet was not checked off. I specifically asked them to check battery because I was having problems with battery and had to jump start car twice before going in for service which I told them. The service guy told me that they checked the battery but just never checked it off on sheet. Also noticed that they checked box that they filled washer fluid which indicator was on when I dropped off car. After driving from dealer a few miles the washer fluid light came on which meant they never filled it. Three days later went to start car. Car would not start. This is after spending $1135 at dealer. Could not get battery going with jumper cable. My husband decided to buy a new battery rather than paying for tow truck back to dealer. We had the old battery tested and sure enough it tested as bad. Install new battery and car started right away. No problem since. Now are they just checking off boxes and not doing test? Clearly they didn’t fill the washer fluid and that battery was no good. Shame on them. Also noticed on my prior visit they did not fill out diagnostics on sheet. Just beware. More

What’s the point of “appointments”? I had a 9:15 am appointment for an oil change on my NEW vehicle . It was 10:45 before they even took my car inside. the waiting area was filthy.
