I was thoroughly disappointed and beyond dissatisfied with the experience that I had yesterday; it was one of the worst car buying experiences that I've ever had. I feel completely disrespected and the with the experience that I had yesterday; it was one of the worst car buying experiences that I've ever had. I feel completely disrespected and the team wasted my time, energy and money. I came specifically to Berman Star Nissan, because I have purchased cars and received service for over 5 years from their Subaru dealership in Chicago. I had researched a specific used car online, reached out to their sales team about its availability, had numerous pieces of correspondence about its condition and my desire and intent to schedule a test drive. I rescheduled my work day and made arrangements to visit the dealership with the intent to purchase the car after a test drive. After taking a ride share to be there so that I could potentially depart with the vehicle, I was told after 15 minutes waiting in an office that it was "under negotiations" with another customer - this after literally 30 minutes prior telling their sales representative when I was going to arrive. I was then shown another vehicle that was more expensive and in far worse condition than the subsequent paperwork that he gave me to review showed. After expressing my disappointment and disinterest, he then left the room again stating that he was going to try and get his manager to come meet with me before I left. Upon his return, without them, he had the audacity to tell me a completely different story about the car I originally came to purchase, stating that it was sold that morning. I left and was required to pay for another rideshare home. Simply put - this was a total waste of my time and money. They should be ashamed of the unethical sales tactics used and I will never do business with this business. They have proven and reinforced every negative stereotype of the industry. More

Brought my car in for an oil change, low tire pressure, and a few other things. They found a nail in the front left tire and asked if I wanted it fixed. It was late Saturday afternoon so I had no choice. and a few other things. They found a nail in the front left tire and asked if I wanted it fixed. It was late Saturday afternoon so I had no choice. They said it would cost $100 to repair. I said that's extortion and asked if they could provide a discount seeing that I bought my car from them just two years earlier. They knocked off $30. When time came to pay the bill, I saw they had added "Additional fees" for COVIDFEE $2.08, DOCFEE $1.63, EPA $1.87, SS $22.88, and ROF $6.35 for a grand total of $34.81. I asked the salesperson to explain the charges but she couldn't or wouldn't and just handed me a long document to read. I paid the total charge and promised to never go back. I hope they cherish their $34 because they lost me as a customer. More

I brought my car in for an oil change with a pre-arranged appointment. Two hours and twenty minutes later no word from the service person. No apologies, but he did try to talk me into almost $600 in new serv appointment. Two hours and twenty minutes later no word from the service person.
