More than just a dealership! My first visit to Star Nissan was back in 2009. I was looking to lease a new body style Maxima. Like any consumer I did my shopping around. I had probably visited about 3 other dealers in Queens. I was almost ready to give up and go with another less expensive model, until I walked into Star. To my surprise Star was able to BEAT all the other dealers. My sales rep was Lionel Benjamin, he was extremely professional and helpful, and most importantly got me into the Maxima I was looking for without any hassle. During the course of my lease Lionel kept in touch to make sure everything was fine with the service of the car. Even calling to wish me a happy birthday! So now at the end of my lease it was a no brainer to where I would be going. My wife told me to go to other dealers before I went back to Star just in case, and get some prices. I did, and it was the same outcome as 2009. Lionel once again Beat everyone`s price and again I drove away with my 2012 Nissan Maxima. I am proud to call Lionel my friend now, and not just some salesman. Star Nissan now has my loyalty when it comes to cars. Thanks again Star Nissan! More

No complaints. The sales representative was attentive to the things i asked about. The price of the vehicle I was purchasing was okay. I hate haggling over prices so I am pretty much at the dealerships mercy, but did not feel like I was taken advantage of. All of my questions and concerns were adddressed by my sales man Jon. Follow-up questions a couple days later were also addressed in a timely manner. Jon returned my calls quickly and provided useful answers. The paperwork process did take quite a long time but then again I could of sped up that process if I had gotten pre-approved for the loan but come to think of it if I had done that I may not have gotten the greate rate Jon was able to get for me. So it all worked out for the best...Thanks More

Liars: before going there I talked to the sales rep about the ad on the newspaper we confirmed everything he even told me that he will give me a 2012 version with same price offer with same equipment. I went there., Guess what? he said that is not the unit, I showed him their printed ad from newspaper he then started thinking and excused himself went to his so called manager took a while then went back said this ad is a MISTAKE. If this is a mistake why they didn't correct it?., been running for 3 weeks. False Advertising: These guys are sending ads for a week, with wrong information. Do yourself a favor stay away from STAR NISSAN!!! Don't even believe whatever ads they post on newspapers they will always deny it. THE AD IS A SWITCH and BAIT OPERATION! STAY AWAY!!! If you want to test them right now if you have the AD, try calling them be sure you record your voice conversation as a proof., then go there and ask the same unit you want. The service department for STAR Nissan is horrible. You purchase an extended warranty when buying the car and when there is a problem the "specialized mechanics" at the Nissan service center can't seem to purchase an extended warranty when buying the car and when there is a problem the "specialized mechanics" at the Nissan service center can't seem to produce what you are claiming has happenend in order for them to fix it. At an hourly rate of 106.00 per hour you would think that they could fix anything. They always have an answer to avoid fixing the concern. We have been going back and forth with the service department about a rattling sound that we hear in our 2006 Murano. Initially we were told to change the type of gas, we have changed the type of gas and there was still no resolution of the problem. They changed the catalytic converter twice because they said it could be to blame. Well it's not the noise is still rattling away I gave up on trying to have them fix the problem. Another problem is the passenger door in the front creaks which is quite annoying they repadded the door the noise continued. They said I had to purchase a new door because they could do nothing about the creaking of the door. Next problem the driver's seat, is cracked their response was that maybe we do not know how to sit on the seat. I contacted Nissan North America about this one but they said the manager from the service station indicated that the customer is to blame for the seat therefore nothing can be done. This whole fiasco took about 7 months to resolve with their final answer being I can purchase a new seat for 1600.00 dollars. Nissan I am sorry to say does not stand behind their products. When people ask me how I like the Murano I tell them and I am sure that the money Nissan would have spent to correctly fix the problems I had would have been less than the "advertising" they are getting now when people ask me for my opinion. Stay away not worth the headaches, buy American from now on. More
the agreed upon price prior to starting the paperwork was not the same when it came to signing. the final price was significantly higher. i chose to get the "remote engine start" option and was not told tha not the same when it came to signing. the final price was significantly higher. i chose to get the "remote engine start" option and was not told that they would take my actual key to install it into my car and tried to make me pay a few hundred dollars for a "replacement" key, which took hours of arguing. when i made an appointment 24 hours in advance to come in and speak with my salesperson about some issues i was having with the car, he was not present because he overslept. i had to wait 3+ hours for him to finally arrive. when i received my car, i noticed that one a/c vent was not sticking out and not properly set. when i brought it to the dealership, they tried forcing and twisting it back into place in front of me, leaving numerous scratches on the inside of the framework before they decided that it was faulty and needed to order a replacement part. although the scratches were not visible once it was replaced. in less than one year of owning my new car, it started making weird noises so i brought it to the dealer repair shop and found out that there was a huge crack in my engine. the dealership tried to void my warranty because they said the reason was that i had not gotten oil changes at the appropriate times and tried to make me pay thousands of dollars unless i could provide proof that i had gotten oil changes. i had to dig through almost a year of receipts and when i finally proved that i actually had gotten more oil changes than was necessary, did they finally agree that it is supposed to be covered under my warranty. i finally got fed up and got rid of the car in less than 3 years of ownership. i let the dealership know how unpleasant i was throughout this entire ordeal and vowed never to return. More

The overall sales process was extremely easy. The dealership is easy to access from all directions. Coming into the dealership was very comfortable. The salesteam was personable.
