Our service manager Steve has reached out directly to this customer to offer our apologies for the manufacturer defect in workmanship the customer has been dealing with. Ultimately we were able to repair his vehicle and offered to replace the water logged carpet and floor mats if necessary. It's always our intention to do our best to rectify any situation that finds us with an unhappy customer regardless of whether it's the fault of the dealer or the manufacturer.

We apologize that you feel your experience has been anything less. As with all used vehicles sold in the state of New York, the BMW X5 you purchased from us is covered under the NYS lemon law. This protection is offered to consumers to make sure all vehicles sold are mechanically sound and safe to drive. Looking into your Check Engine light being on is part of this consumer protection. Unfortunately, items such as your driver’s seat are not covered under this protection. This is why we offered you the option to purchase an extended warranty at the time of purchase.
