Office was empty upon arrival. Sales guy, Tim, was not there at appt time. Alternate guy was on his way out to p/u. His kids from school, but took my name and number after telling me the hood latch was br there at appt time. Alternate guy was on his way out to p/u. His kids from school, but took my name and number after telling me the hood latch was broken on the car I came to test drive. Nobody called me back. I called him back 2 /3 days later (the time I was told it would take to fix the hood latch) he dryly and unapologetically says the car had already been sold. How I was (mis) handled spoke volumes and I’m disappointed; I was prepared to make a cash purchase, on the spot too. Star has been a family favorite since their Woodward Ave days. The used car division sold us a car with a broken speedometer. So, there was no way to know what the actual milage was.
