Have been looking for a car for a while. My friend lost her car to Hurricane Sandy, and I took her to several dealerships. My car was damaged during Hurricane Irene, but driveable. The people at Star are very friendly and knowledgeable. We worked with Roy Simpson, and the man has the patience of a saint. I ask many many questions, and he answered them all. Both my friend and I bought Elantras, and at a good price. My friend was armed with Consumer Digest printouts, Edmonds sheets, plus she knows her way around a engine. She was pleased at the purchase prices. The only downside was the finance guy. Him I did not like. Not personable, which is ok, but explained things poorly as far as I was concerned. I would recommend this dealership and Roy. More

I had been to over seven dealerships to find the car that i wanted for the best price and and i found it at Star Hyundai. I thought my salesman "Mr Andrew Lee" was simply terrific and very knowledgeable abou i wanted for the best price and and i found it at Star Hyundai. I thought my salesman "Mr Andrew Lee" was simply terrific and very knowledgeable about the product that he sells. I was not pressured in the least which as we all know isn't exactly a very pleasant experience. If you want a non aggressive / non pushy salesperson than deal with Andrew Lee. He's not your typical "car salesman " I had very little interaction from the dealerships manager while negotiating a price, i have to say that i found that rather refreshing , the whole "tag team" sales pressure approach was gets rather tiresome and i found it to be a rather unpleasant experience. I had a few dealings with "Zack " the manager after closing the deal and i found him to be very accommodating and pleasant to deal with . I have no doubt i will receive excellent service from him in the future should i need it. I felt extremely comfortable at this dealership with the sales staff as well as the finance manager whom was also somewhat non aggressive while explaining my optional purchases of extended warranties. I felt very comfortable with the purchase price of this vehicle and as i said i went to over seven different dealerships in the tri-state area . Yes, i admit that i might have gone a bit overboard, but i saved a lot , and i mean A LOT of money by doing so, My advice to you is do your homework, shop around, and before you make a purchase elsewhere you should positively give these guys a shot.Happy hunting Rich More

A month ago I purchased a BMW X5 from Star Hyundai, I had Jun Park helping me which was a cool sales man. I was interested on the X5 everything was cool. Okay ended up buying the X5 from them. Now having an issue with the SUV I called an spoke to Jun Park and he told me that I needed to speak to the manager which is a stupid and irresponsible I was told you have 90 days if something happens with the SUV canal me we will help you. Well that's not true i called him with a problem and the first thing the Manager told me was well is amused car we can't do anything this is a Hyundai dealer not a BMW dealer you will have to take it to BMW dealer and have them take a look at it at your cost. Listen if you are a Hyundai dealer way are you selling BMW stupid. DON'T buy from this people they are the worst dealership ever. I would not recommend anyone. More
