Spent a few hours working a deal on a new GMC truck for my fiance', and she actually signed a purchase agreement which included a 1,000 dollar deposit. She returned the very next day to inform the salesman my fiance', and she actually signed a purchase agreement which included a 1,000 dollar deposit. She returned the very next day to inform the salesman that she did not feel comfortable with the payment, and decided to not go through with the purchase. It was stated that her deposit was non-refundable, so the dealership is admittedly well within its right to keep her deposit. I just feel it is a bad business practice. In her case, Star incurred no real hardship or expense. She returned the very next afternoon. This will definitely keep her, myself, and immediate family members from even considering Star GMC in the future. More
