I like the challenge of negotiating with car dealerships and the deal I was offered actually exceeded what I was hoping to accomplish. Adam is not your typical car salesman. Both Adam and Greg were genuinely interested in me, the customer. I was not met by a high pressure salesmen who was just interested in pushing a car out the showroom door. I knew what I was looking for, but Adam took the time to explain the GMC Terrain in detail. He explained the features, some which were new to me, and made sure I understood. Greg explained the deal without pressure and explained the various financing options. Ryan explained the various warranty options, again without pressure and worked with Greg for appropriate pricing. I had recently purchased a new vehicle for my wife. Although I eventually accomplished my goal it took three plus hours compared to what I accomplished with Adam and Greg in approximately thirty minutes. Truth be told, I had planned on visiting 2 other dealerships on that day, to test drive similar z06's, but Dave himself sold me. He was very informative with a no pressure approach. Best compliment I can give anyone is that he was very honest, genuine and authentic........a quality that's hard to find these days. THEY LET A CASH PAYER WALK OFF THE LOT EMPTY-HANDED Went to the dealership in April to pay cash and buy a new Sierra 1500 for my husband. Should have been a no-brainer since I was paying in full with cashier's check. We fell in love with a truck but it was slightly out of budget. Instead of $51,500, I was able to pay $49,000. Again this was a cash deal, not a finance. A sure deal...but no, the dealership would not budge on the price and come down the $2,500 needed to complete the sale. I blatantly asked the salesman and the manager if they were willing to lose my business and get bad word of mouth over a mere $2,500. They just reiterated that they could not meet my price and they were very sorry. I was actually shocked that they would let me leave the dealership and lose the deal. But they did.... Went down the road to Koch 33 Ford and was met with the same price issue. However, they realized the value of our business and came down and met my price. My husband never had a Ford before and he LOVES his fully-loaded F150. I would never use Star Buick GMC again. They don't value customers even ones willing to make a sure sale and pay cash.... More
