When my daughter had an accident a few years ago, they bent over backwards to help her get the work done within her price range. The accident was not her fault but still had to pay 20%. I just took her car here for an oil change this week, they were most helpful as far as telling her what needed to be done to the car to keep it running well. The car has more than 90,000 miles on it. One problem however. The price you had on the sign was not the same charged for the oil chance. When I pointed it out, the extra charge was removed. ( the added cost to recycle the used oil) I feel you should b up front and tell people that it is not part of the price. It should be added to large sign that say OIL CHANCE $29.95. I got a bill for $45.00! Thank you for taken care of this. More

This was my first visit to the dealership. I took advantage of their Black Friday free oil change offer for my Chevy mini-van. While waiting, Pat Gruhler introduced herself to me and asked if I'd be advantage of their Black Friday free oil change offer for my Chevy mini-van. After knocking down the pins, she and I were discussing what Star had to offer. Dealing with Pat Gruhler was a pleasure. In context, my car was towed to Star/Easton's repair shop, and the word from the shop was not encouraging. Doug has been my service advisor for several years, and I have learned Doug is a man of his word. It appeared that another car was on my horizon. I had been given a GMC Terrain as a loaner, and I contacted internet sales about a deal on the Terrain. John Hershey (who had contacted me a few weeks before about trading in) stepped in and set up a time for me to come in and discuss any deal. Pat met my wife and me before we got to the showroom door. Pat spent the time working out an acceptable deal--not for the Terrain (which I really didn't need), but for a Buick Verano, which Pat suggested as a car that would meet the needs we discussed. So, the deal was made. I recommend Pat, Doug, and John at Star/Easton. Through these folks, the dealership will keep my automotive repair, service, and purchase business. More
