The sales staff was nice. I bought the car. I had issues with my paperwork and financing. Specifically declined GAP insurance, it was almost slipped into my contract. I walked in with a pre-approval with my paperwork and financing. Specifically declined GAP insurance, it was almost slipped into my contract. I walked in with a pre-approval letter from Capital one and the dealership was able to provide financing with a lower APR rate. However I came in letting them know I wanted a 60 month loan term, when reading the paperwork at home I found they put a 72 month loan term. The staff was busy when I came in at 3pm. I was there until close waiting on for the finance papers. I wasn’t happy with the wait, or the mistakes on the financing contract but the car was priced well and had minimal issues. I was supposed to get a paper to get a broken tpms sensor fixed but by the time I finally got through the entire process, everyone had forgotten so I’ll probably have to pay for it out of pocket. ***Update: 1500 miles into own this car, I bought in June it’s now August, I go to the dealership because it’s making a weird noise when braking. They tell me it needs all new brake pads and rotors which Star Auto said they put new brakes and rotors before I bought it. So they misrepresented the vehicle saying it passed inspection with new brake pads and rotors and fraudulently put passing inspection stickers. Joe Robinson what is your extension so I can contact you directly about all this? Or call me directly. Your service department wants me to drive the car over on Saturday with barely any front brake pads instead of paying the authorized Subaru dealership to replace them. Subaru even cooperated by taking photos so you would have proof the brake pads aren’t new. More
