We were told by the finance manager that because we were paying cash, and didn't have a trade-in, the price would be $1500.00 higher than the internet price. $1000.00 more because we weren't financing and $500.00 more because we did not have a trade in. We thought he was kidding, he wasn't. After giving us a price of $7400.00 for the $5995.00 car we counter offered (to be just as ridiculous) with $4500.00 and asked, now really, what is your best price? He came back with 6995.00 saying he lowered the non-finance price from $1000.00 to $600.00 and the non-trade-in price from $500.00 to $400.00. Needles to say, we got out of there as quick as we could. More
