Stamford Hyundai was recommended to us from Truecar even though we live in Queens. We initially planned on purchasing a blue Tucson but when we saw it, we changed our minds. Just when we thought we were going to have to return our cashiers check, Joe walked us around their lot to see one in Stellar Silver (which we did not think we would want) but once we saw it, we wanted it. But now it was getting close to closing and we didn’t want to drive back the next day from NY. These guys stayed late to make sure we could drive off that night with our 2020 Tucson Ultimate. THEY WERE FABULOUS. And we are hard to please but they pleased us! What a welcomed change from our experience with Brooklyn Hyundai dealerships. THIS DEALERSHIP IS WORTH THE DRIVE TO STAMFORD. We plan on servicing our 2019 Santa Fe (bought in Brooklyn) and now our 2020 Tucson with them. Totally recommend them. At first I thought the positive reviews were made up but I was wrong. This place is great!!! Plus, I feel good knowing my 17 year old is driving a safe reliable car that will tell me if he speeds, stays out past curfew, or travels outside the area he tells me he’s going to be! And gives me peace of mind if he doesn’t react fast enough, the car will Brake itself. More

Great service - NOT I am editing my review. Be aware, they will sell you a pre owned car without really inspecting/checking the car. I purchased the car and not two weeks I am editing my review. Be aware, they will sell you a pre owned car without really inspecting/checking the car. I purchased the car and not two weeks later the check engine light came on and it's been on for 6 months. I brought the car back for at least four times and they would just reset the light and tell me work has been done, but nope. Worst of everything, I purchase the car and signed a AS IS. Yes, my mistake but they should have been upfront regarding the car's system. TAKE THE CAR TO A MECHANIC YOU TRUST BEFORE SIGNING THE FINAL SALE PAPERS I highly (DON'T)) recommend it. Great customer service and they will work within your budget. Check it out. That is all I have to say at the moment. More

Great experience! Pros: For starters...Needed to use restroom which was even escorted instead of just being pointed too due to spending the day visiting multiple Hyund Pros: For starters...Needed to use restroom which was even escorted instead of just being pointed too due to spending the day visiting multiple Hyundai dealerships within tri-state region. Secondly, "No" pressure sales tactics, no false promises, no bait-n-switch tactics. Just offerings and honest attentive listening on their part with a smile. Special note: Yesterday was delivery date which came down to meeting with finance to close out purchase & take delivery. Having past car purchase experience at other Mfr car dealerships, this is where you expect the hard sales to buy add'l products + services. Well, I got to tell you that for the first time, I had "No" such encounter with David Martinich. He was great to talk with and down to earth to explain everything. Paperwork went smooth with FULL explanation regarding paperwork. FYI: Take special attention to David's offering suggestion (and don't feel intimidated) because I was able to take advantage of Hyundai's special extended warranty offering this month which is lower than (A) third party quotes (B) individual dealership quotes-Yes! I even checked this out for myself!!! Instead of BUYER BE AWARE - it's BUYER MAKE NOTE!!! You snooze-you loose! Cons: Dealership seemed somewhat congested with onsite vehicles (which is understanding-volume selling) and local area location of dealership property is less than appealing. Bottom Line: Requested vehicle purchased at a reasonable price without haggling and/or pressure! Final comment: As Sy Simms says......Best buyer is an educated consumer! More
