Liars: Horrible Customer Service We noticed that the tires on the vehicle we were about to purchase were very bald and we were concerned about traveling in the winter with our childre We noticed that the tires on the vehicle we were about to purchase were very bald and we were concerned about traveling in the winter with our children. So, the dealer was nice enough to work and extra $500 into our loan so that we could purchase new tires. The dealer, Leah, told us that we would get a check in the mail for the $500. So we waited and waited. We purchased the car in September, after a few weeks went by (we're now in October) we sent a message to Leah asking where the check was. We were concerned that the weather would start to get cold and snowy and wanted our car to be prepared for that. She said she would look into it and get back to us. When she got back to us she said that the check and been cut and mailed out. So we gave it about another week or two, still hadn't seen the check. At this point we already had our first snow storm and the car slipped around all over the place. We sent Leah another message asking where the check was. No response. We gave it some time thinking maybe she just got busy and forgot to get back to us. So we sent another message asking her if there was any update on where the check was. STILL no response. Keep in mind that we can see that she had read our messages. So I decided to try to get a hold of someone else at the dealership to see if we could get some help. I got in touch with Alannah. At first she said she would be happy to help, but after some time, no response. I tried emailing her again to get an update, no response. At this point I had my husband try getting in touch with someone. And, we had another bad snow storm. My husband finally got a hold of the manager who put him through to the service department. Now we finally got someone who was willing to try to help us. It took about two weeks for him to find the type of tires that we were quoted to get and for us to get them put on. And of course, they were going to try to make us pay the difference in the cost. So we decided to order a cheaper tire. Well, those ended up being discontinued, so they had to order the ones we originally wanted in the first place. So they did end up putting the tires on for us at the quoted price. We finally got to make an appointment to get them put on on 11/23/18 at 1:00. We show up for our appointment and it's an hour and 45 min wait, even though we had an appointment. So it took us two months to finally get our tires paid for and put on our vehicle. I was curious about where the original check was that Leah said had been cut and mailed to us, that we never received, so I asked the manager and she said that the check had NEVER been written out/mailed. So, all in all, we were lied to and jerked around by several people. It seems to us that they were trying to get out of a deal that they didn't want to commit to. Thank goodness we had it all on paperwork. They are very sketchy people there. DON"T trust them! More
