I bought my Maxima new in 2009 through the Costco auto buying program. It was the best and easiest car purchase I have ever had. The salesperson was awesome. I have zero complaints for the sales departmetn-in fact I highly recommend their sales department. While still under warranty, I noticed the bumper cover was misaligned so I took it to the dealer to get it fixed. The service manager (possibly Jim but I am not certain) said that it may be a bad clip. That didn't fix the problem. Then he said that maybe I had hit something or someone had hit me. We looked around the car and there was not one scratch, dent, mark or anything else to indicate that it was hit. Then he said that some cars are just made that way and the molding doesn't always line up perfectly. Hard to imagine on a $38,455 car, but I didn't know any better. Recently my car had some hail damage so I took it to 3 auto body shops for estimates. All 3 asked what was going on with the bumper. I explained it and all 3 said I would take it back to the dealership. I called the dealership and the same manager said that we had talked about this previously and that it was not a warranty issue. I contacted Nissan directly and they thankfully will cover the repairs even though the service manager said that I had hit something and that is why it wasn't a warranty issue. Needless to say I am not at all pleased about the misinformation given. I think the dealership simply didn't want to deal with the problem. Their service department is horrible. My wife is in the market for a new car and I am not sure I am willing to give that dealership more of my time or money. More
We purchased one vehicle from them a long time ago, when we didn't know any better. They pressured us into paying more than we had to for a vehicle. We went back later on to look into another purchase, and being a little older and wiser, we quickly realized the high-pressure tactics they employ. They try to keep you there until you decide to buy something from them. They like to play games with the numbers to hide how much you will actually be paying for the car. I also heard them trying to talk a young lady into buying a much more expensive car than she came to look at. I had to storm into the Sales Manger's office with all the laughing sales people to get my keys back so I could leave. They held my keys from my potential trade in and would not give them back until I walked in and demanded them back. I cannot believe they are a still in business. Do not visit this dealership, there are much better dealers to buy Nissans and Volkswagens from. More
Never go there!!!! Never give them holding fee!! My friend gave them a 500$ to hold a car for 1 day!!!! She never deal with car dealers before!! She waned to come back with her dad so he could take a look at this car! Of course she did not know that NORMAL car dealers would ask for 100$ holding fee which is 100% refundable!!! Why those guys ask for 500$?!! I think because they figure out that she doesn't know much about!! She’s been told couple times that 500$ are totally refundable! Now she can't get it back!!!!! Guys don't ever go there!! Car dealers who care about reputation and costumer servies would never do such a thing!! More
As far as a St. Louis Nissan Dealership, I felt that St Charles Auto was the best I checked out. I went to a nissan dealer in west county and north county. Everyone is trying hard to sell cars, but not everyone has a good selection. The cool thing about St Charles Auto was I wanted a specific Pathfinder V8 with leather etc and only St Charles had it in more than one color. I went home with it that nite. More

She had attempted to summon a salesperson to assist us, and though many peeked their heads out at us, all were reluctant to actually approach. It appeared that if you plan on purchasing this dealer, in order to receive any assistance from the sales personnel, you must don your best and present yourself as an individual with an unlimited amount of cash. We looked around at vehicles by ourselves for twenty minutes. Returned to the reception area, ready to leave, when she finally was able to convince someone to speak to us. The conversation last less than five minutes, where they stated that they didn't have any more Vera's in stock, weren't sure when they'd get more in (maybe December - we were told - but who knew), and sent us out the door without much further ado. Needless to say, we will not be returning. More
