We had a great buying experience, salesman, Aaron Litton. Loving our Santa Fe Hybrid - great ride and awesome mileage (38 mpg combined). I was with my friend looking for a new car. Everything was finalized on 2022 Tuscon. Finally its time for the credit check and confirming the interest rate. My friend had like 9 hard checks back to back with in 2 minutes. They came up with 18% saying that’s the least he can get. And this happened in September 2021. Interest rates are super low at that time. They lied saying DCU loan request was rejected. With in 10 minutes we received an email from DCU with approval. Frustrated with there cheating, we walked out. This was around 2021 September. Recently, I personally was looking for a Palisade and had been there with an appointment. They asked me to wait for 30 mins. Which was fine. I thought they might be busy. One sales person showed up and was talking to us for a minute and went back saying he will be back. I waited for 30 to 45 minutes and he never showed up. He took 2 other customers and went back with them showing the cars. That was the rude thing any one can do to a customer. No respect at all. If you have too much of business and no new customers are required, that’s great. Behave the same way. Make sure you serve your customers better. I’ll never show up here again. More

I WATCHED THE SERVICE TECH USE HIS AIR TOOL TO REMOVE MY 2022 GENESIS WHEEL LOCKS WHICH I PERSONALLY BOUGHT AT MY LAST SERVICE EXPERIENCE, 6-24-22. I WATCHED THE SERVICE TECH USE HIS AIR TOOL TO REMOVE MY 2022 GENESIS WHEEL LOCKS WHICH I PERSONALLY BOUGHT AT ST CHARLES HYUNDAI, AND HAND TIGHTEN THE WHEEL LOCKS MYSELF, BUT THE SERVICE WRITER SAID THE TECH TOLD HIM THE WHEEL LOCK KEY WAS ALREADY STRIPPED, AND ACCUSED ME OF DOING IT. THE TECH WAS CLEARLY HAVING PROBLEMS AND I COULD TELL SOMETHING WAS WRONG SO I TOLD TYLER THE SERVICE WRITER HE WAS HAVING ISSUES. I WAS THE ONLY PERSON TO USE THE KEY PRIOR TO THE TECH PUTTING IT ON HIS ARI TOOL AND THIS WAS WHAT CAUSED THE KEY TO STRIP. CALL ME A LIAR ONCE AND YOU WILL NEVER HAVE THE CHANCE TO DO IT AGAIN. IT APPEARS THE KEY WAS STRIPPED WITH A HIGH RATE OF FRICTION. NO xxxxx TO ADMIT IT HAPPENED ON THEIR WATCH SO I WILL NEVER TAKE A VEHICLE TO SAINT CHARLES HYUNDAI AGAIN, EVER. I REALIZE THE $70 I SPENT ON TH WHHEL LOCK KIT IS TOO MUCH FOR A DEALER TO ABSORB! THIS DEALER WILL COVER THEIR xxx BEFORE EVER ADMITTING THEY CAN MAKE A MISTAKE. More

Me and my wife who both have worked in retail ( im retired) were very impressed with Steven’s energy a had refered us to due to him having a day off. Me and my wife who both have worked in retail ( im retired) were very impressed with Steven’s energy and patience to make sure we understood the new 2022 hyundai tuscon hybrid we had ordered along with trade in haggling and a somewhat confusing finance program , but with his patience and our understanding of the program finally we came to an agreement after Steve worked with us for over 4 hours we got to leave with our new shimmering silver tuscon hybrid. Even though Steven had another customer waiting he did not rush us. Thanks for a great experience Steven 👍👍. Terry & Stacey Arnett More
This dealership advertises no mark up. That is true on the sale price. Well, anyone that has gone car shopping knows there are games and angles the dealerships play. They can only sell you a car if you agree to use hyundai financing at 6.9 percent. Then after 4 months you can refinance your loan. According to the sales rep I met (Aaron), he said it's no big deal. You can get a refi at 1.9 percent he says. He said they won't sell for cash and I could only put a max of 2,000 down. He said the intrest rates won't go up more than .25 percent 4 months down the road. Try to refinance a used car for 1.9 percent. Share with everyone how well and easy that works I wonder how he could know so much about future intrest rates. Keep in mind I have a credit score above 800. Why in the heck would I fall for his swift answering act. I would absolutely never consider this place. More

Got my new 2022 Tuscon Hybrid Limited from this dealership. The Good: - No markup over MSRP (offset by the bad). - Service rep (Andreas) did a good job communicating the status of the vehicle. dealership. The Good: - No markup over MSRP (offset by the bad). - Service rep (Andreas) did a good job communicating the status of the vehicle. - The financing although left a lot to be desired in terms of how they communicate the terms of the contract. I finished signing the paper work in no time and the overall process was really smooth. The Bad: On the day of delivery, the attitude of the financing rep (Shae Washburn) left a lot to be desired. He seemed to be in some sort of a hurry to close the contract. They were upfront about needing to pick financing through Hyundai, which I appreciate but the part that they were not upfront on is the fact that I cant put any down more than $2000 or I can't pick a term other than 72 months. On the day of delivery after test driving my car, Andreas asked me to pick a 72 term contract for financing, saying that I can change this with Shae when i discuss financing, but this was never brought up during the conversation with Shae. I was constantly reminded that if I did not sign the finance contract for a 4.8% APR, I can just walk away forfeiting the deposit of $500 that I put about a month ago. They also do a credit check when placing the deposit, about a month before I received my car and another check when opening the loan with Hyundai Finance. Which I thought was really unnecessary. I understand that the times are challenging and there is low inventory of new cars and you need to make too. But, if you are going to force the consumer to pick a 72 term contract for such a bad APR, be upfront about it and don't promote that you don't charge markup, because in my view, this is even worse. At-least the other dealers are being upfront about the fact that they charge a markup. More

When I asked about an adapter for my car's home charging system, he got on the phone and provided a trustworthy answer. When I asked about financing, he came back with accurate information. And when he was interrupted with answering questions from other customers, he let me know and got back ASAP. Ultimately, I did not buy a car from Ben, but I would encourage others to consider St. Charles Hyundai and Ben Macormic for a positive and informative buying experience. More
