Josh was in contact with me and the vehicle has been serviced for most of the items I provided them. St. Charles Hyundai provided a loaner vehicle while they had our car for a couple of weeks to perform the work. Overall I am now satisfied with their response to the issues and appreciate how Josh took charge of the situation.

July 2023 Update: AC compressor went out and needed service quickly due to high summer temperatures. I had an appointment scheduled for some basic service (oil, tire rotation, alignment) and also to revisit the CEL for Small Eval leak P0456 code that has been ongoing for over 2 years now without a resolution from the service department however that was still weeks away. It currently takes a minimum of 8 weeks for any scheduled services at this dealership. I called and was able to drop the car off and they would try to fit the AC issue into their schedule. One week later I get a call from a service person to let me know that the AC was fixed (new compressor) and they did the other small items I had coming up on the scheduled appointment. Amazingly this person I spoke to informed me that they found the issue with the CEL code! Apparently they have hired a decent technician who found a leak on the Evap canister. This was promising news to me as we tend to like to drive cars without CEL on the dashboard all the time. Then the bad news came......the service person said that the leak was caused by am "impact" to this Evap canister thus will not be covered under warranty. She quotes me about a 1000.00 to replace this canister. Had this been the first time the car was in the shop for the CEL leak and they found this damage (over 2 years now has passed) I would have gladly had them replace it. After 2 years and now blame it on damage that could have happened a month, a day, a week, or 20 minutes before I dropped it off I find unacceptable. If these guys were not smart enough to find this issue from the beginning then how can they determine when this impact happened? I suspect if I replaced this canister that the problem would come back anyway because it most likely is not the culprit. The service manager is a decent enough person to deal with despite my disagreement with their business practices and delay tactics for service intervals in order to wait out warranty months and miles. Good luck if you decide to deal with these people. If you get a lemon like I did then you might just want to trade it and start over somewhere else. Unfortunately their Missouri Lemon Law uses broad language when granting "reasonable number of repair attempts" for the same issues. For this dealership I think that number is north of 50 attempts. In summary I highly recommend you look elsewhere.
