I chose Springs Automotive Group because the had the specific vehicle I wanted and their positive reviews. I purchased a used 2020 Mazda6 on July 22. The sale went well and I left pleased. Part of the sales agreement was to repair the non-functioning blind spot monitor. I was assured the repair would take an hour of labor and “a couple days once the part arrived.” I’ve had now waited two weeks from the purchase date and still have no firm idea as to when I will be able to drive the car. The salesman has been apologetic, but not able to deliver on the agreed repair. I just kept getting told the car would be ready then pushed to another date. Yesterday I was informed that they do not know why the repair has not been successful, and they do not know when the car will to be ready. So far all I have weeks of apologies and no car while paying interest and insurance costs for a Car I do not have. My request to return the vehicle was flatly denied. Instead of my planned road trip this weekend, I’m home, researching my legal options. Update - After working with Oscar, we have resolved the issue and Springs Automotive Group has taken the vehicle back. I'm adjusting my rating from the original 2 stars to 4. I do feel that ultimately I was treated fairly. In retrospect, the Sales Team did what they could, however I do wish the Service Department had provide more accurate and timely information and service. I would buy her again but have learned that when purchasing a used vehicle, only buy "as is" if you are ready to dive it off the lot. I do appreciate the follow up and service since Oscar became involved. More
