Update to December 5, 2024 review: I bought my 2006 Toyota 4Runner as is on November 5th 2024. Immediately had engine lights on. I drove it 5 times before it overheated and was undriveable. The oil an Toyota 4Runner as is on November 5th 2024. Immediately had engine lights on. I drove it 5 times before it overheated and was undriveable. The oil and water/coolant were full and the fan was working. Temperature Guage on dash was indicating a normal running temp. ? Due to finances, I was not able to seek repair until March 10th, 2025. I have been unable to work due to not having transportation. I am now heavily in debt due to repairs performed. $3,700. later. I have a running car. The mechanic stated that it appeared that the water pump, radiator and radiator hoses had been replaced near the time of my purchase. The mechanic stated that, in his opinion, at least one head gasket was already heavily damaged when I purchased the vehicle causing the overheating incident. The vehicle still has an oxygen sensor that needs to be replaced. The clips on 2 center caps on the rims broke and now are absent. The CD player only worked about 3 times before it stopped working. Plus some other minor issues. I will contact the dealership to notify them of all of this and am hoping for assistance (not at my cost) with these issues. At this time, I just feel disgusted. More
