Saw a commercial on TV for a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Went to the web page suggested and "built" the car I might be interested in. Then went to the closest dealership recommended in the return email and was to the web page suggested and "built" the car I might be interested in. Then went to the closest dealership recommended in the return email and was introduced to Joe Harmer, one of the sales employees. Took a test ride and after that it was an easy decision for me. Mr. Harmer was extremely professional, knowledgeable about the product and, best of all, not pushy or condescending. I purchased a 2013 Elantra GT within 3 days of my first visit. I have been driving Ford products for the last 13 years and fully intended to purchase another until I dealt with a sales rep at the local dealership. That ended my interest in Ford. Sales people play a very large part in the buying decision and this dealership must sell a lot of cars! I love my new Elantra GT and feel I got a better deal here than I would have elsewhere, based on preliminary discussions with the other dealership! More
I went through the internet and Carl called me. He was very polite and nice. I went the same day to see him. I visited other Hydunai dealers before Springfield Hyundai. I did not feel as welcome at the ot very polite and nice. I went the same day to see him. I visited other Hydunai dealers before Springfield Hyundai. I did not feel as welcome at the other ones like I did at Springfield. I was treated very nice and all the sales people I saw spoke to me. It was a very comforting experience. Springfield Hydunai beat every price that was given to me without me telling them the prices I was quoted. That to me made me feel the others were trying to take advantage of me. I did purchase a 2013 Tucson Limited fully loaded from Springfield Hyundai and I would recommend any and everyone to shop for a vehicle there. More
From the moment I walked in, I felt like Bill Pullin was genuinely interested in finding the right vehicle for me. He was very attentive to my needs and paid attention to all of the details throughout the genuinely interested in finding the right vehicle for me. Dealership is the worst from top to bottom. Had negative experience a couple of years ago and tried another Hyundai dealer. Went back out of convenience figuring I'd give them another shot. Nope the service experience a couple of years ago and tried another Hyundai dealer. Went back out of convenience figuring I'd give them another shot. Nope the service manager is as rude as ever. Arrogant would be a good word. AJ gave me a laundry list of issues, some were true, some not so much. Paid 2.5 times as much as it would cost at two other Hyundai dealerships for an issue and took it to a mechanic for an opinion on the rest. Service Manager said the problem was with me, the customer, I ok'd the price and can't go shopping for a better price after I ok'd that price. Then I got a metaphor about a steak dinner. I didn't call a regular mechanic for a price, I called two other Hyundai dealerships and they were way lower than Springfield. Shouldn't they all be basically in the same ballpark? $1300 plus of AJ's long list was reduced to $500 and that included inspection which Hyundai did not. Apparently from what I have been told dealership mechanics are like sales people the more they find the more they can get you to get done the more they make in billable hours. Buyer beware. Unless you have to get your work done by the manufacturer, go to a good mechanic you can trust. Had bad experiences with three Hyundai dealerships so gunshy on Hyundai, will never buy another Hyundai again because of it, but Springfield Hyundai was by far the worst for people skills, price and customer service. I will never buy another Hyundai because you can't trust their service deparments. More
I was in the market for a new Sonata after my husband brought a veloster. I didn't want to go to the same dealership as he did because of their practice's.They were not the best but all and all I went to brought a veloster. I didn't want to go to the same dealership as he did because of their practice's.They were not the best but all and all I went to springfield hyundai and Joe came out to meet me. He was very nice and took his time did not rush me like most dealers want to. I got a good deal with my lease and a better salesman who I will recommend to anyone. More
I had my 2004 Sante Fe towed to Springfield Hyundai as it broke down while driving. I receieved a call from AJ who informed me that he pulled my dipstick and I had no oil. He then informed me that it would broke down while driving. I receieved a call from AJ who informed me that he pulled my dipstick and I had no oil. He then informed me that it would cost approx $349 to diagnose the issue and I told him not to touch the car, I didn't have that kind of money. I called AJ the next morning to tell him that I would be there in the afternoon to get my car out of there, then AJ comes out with, well you owe $109.99 for the diagnosis and we won't release your car to you without it!! Funny that pulling a dipstick would cost $109.99. I will never ever use them again nor would I ever recommend taking your car there. Very ignorant and shady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still waiting on the General Mgr to call me, been 2 days................ More
I wasn't sure what type of vehicle I was in the market for when I first started looking for my new car. I did some searching online and determined that the Hyundai was highly rated. So I googled my loca for when I first started looking for my new car. I did some searching online and determined that the Hyundai was highly rated. So I googled my local dealers and decided on going to Springfield Hyundai. Boy was I glad I found them! I sent a request in online and a person from their Sales Department (Jason) called me. I told him I wasn't sure about the Hyundai, but they looked very nice. He convinced me to come in and test drive the Elantra and Sonata. I really did like the Sonata, but I could not get the payment into my budget. The only problem with the Elantra was it wasn't in the color I liked. Jason was like "no problem at all"! He disappeared for a short time period and came back to let me know he could get the exact car I was looking for. He told me I would have my car in 2 days!! With that I gave him a deposit and we made the deal that night. The price was right and the customer service was great! I came back 2 days later as he told me to do, and today I am driving my NEW HYUNDAI ELANTRA!! Thank you Jason and Springfield Hyundai so much!!!!!! More
Although I did not go for the Hyundai in the end, I still wanted to write on here how wonderful of a service and what a great salesman Norman is. We were promised alot when I bought my car, my husbands car, and my son's car. We were told for each referal I would recieve $100.00, I have referred 3 people who have bought cars, and I haven't recieved a car, and my son's car. We were told for each referal I would recieve $100.00, I have referred 3 people who have bought cars, and I haven't recieved a cent. We didn't qualify for the hyundai loyalty bonus of $1500.00. It was not explained to us why. We also purchased additional insurance which we were told would cover the tires for any reason. My husband needed a new tire and the insurance company denied the claim. So we are now out another 400.00. My brother has a Hyundai at a dealership in NJ, when he needed a tire, it was put on his car, and the dealership dealt with the insurance, and it didn't cost him a dime. I feel like we were lied to, and I wouldn't trust the dealership with any other referrals. My next car, even though I like it, will not be a Hyundai because I feel we were lied to about alot of the perks. I feel I am owed $3000.00 in customer loyalty,$300.00 for the referals, and $400.00 for the tire. None of the promises made to us have been kept. I also purchased Huyndai assurance to cover ding and slight scratches, but when I have tried to get repairs I get the run around. I am now disgusted with Huyndai and would never recommend you again!
