I bought a certified pre-owned acura from this dealership, and when I brought my car in for service, just one month later, I was told that my car was not certified and had zero warranty!! I was to dealership, and when I brought my car in for service, just one month later, I was told that my car was not certified and had zero warranty!! I was told this after signing and confirming all the paper work for all the warranties that my car has. Gaylord was rude to me, did not answer my phone calls, and when he finally did answer, he gave me a nasty attitude. Springfield Acura is the biggest scam. I brought my car to a different dealership, and was told that nearly half the parts on this car don't even have the original VIN number on it - most didn't have the VIN number at all! When this dealership checked my coverage, they CONFIRMED that my car IS in fact a certified pre-owned acura! However, the morons as Springfield Acura retracted all my coverage, thinking I wouldn't find out. Unfortunately for them, I have all the paperwork and will be contacting my lawyer and the better business bureau. I do NOT recommend springfield acura, unless you're looking to get ripped off! More
I traded in my 07 MDX for a new one today. The salesman, Anthony Spano, could not have been nicer and more informative about the car. He was able to meet the lowest price in the area and gave me a very fair Anthony Spano, could not have been nicer and more informative about the car. I am have 2006 Acura TL for last almost 5 years. Last 2/3 weeks I experienced: 1. Unusual bumps while driving 2. Sudden forward push when gas paddle is released. I check with Acura about any recall, whi weeks I experienced: 1. Unusual bumps while driving 2. Sudden forward push when gas paddle is released. I check with Acura about any recall, which was not the case. As per the suggestion from Acura, I took my car to a dealer (Sept 2011), Springfield Acura NJ (the Dealer). The Dealer has serviced my car since purchased, except first servicing. Last routine servicing was performed on July 28, 2011. That time only oil was changed as rest of all (breaks, tires, all fluids and others) were in good shape as per the written report. During this visit on Sept 1, 2011 (35 days after recent servicing) Mr. Darren DeMatto was assigned to my car as Service Consultant. After 90min of investigation, costing me $128, Darren came up with following findings: 1. My car needs rear wheel replacement as they are in bad shape 2. All tires need re-balancing 3. Power steering fluid is in very bad condition and need replacement. I was shocked to hear that as 35 days back with 1000 miles less on my car, every thing was good. In such a short period how can so many thing go wrong? When asked this Daren said, I should have rotated the tires last time and probably rebalancing was required. During all previous servicing, the Dealer suggested required servicing and/or part replacements proactively. But during last serving nothing was suggested to me, on the contrary, it is documented that all was good. Because of the Dealers negligence today my car is in bad shape and needs $1000+ replacement / servicing. All this time Mr Darren showed “who cares” attitude. I asked for the manager, Mr Jaime Manay. He was off that day and expected back to work on Tuesday Sept 6, 2011. I called Jaime 3 times since Sept 6, 2011 and left 3 voice messages. He did not contact me as of now. Such a negligent and careless service was not expected from authorized Acura dealer. What’s the difference between $20 / 10min oil change place and Acura dealer? More
These guys were great from the moment I got there. I had talked with Jesse Barros first via email and he answered my emails in a prompt manner. I had to drive 72 miles in traffic to get to them and I discu talked with Jesse Barros first via email and he answered my emails in a prompt manner. I had to drive 72 miles in traffic to get to them and I discussed price with Jesse who immediately came back and said the price I asked for was certainly possible via his sales manager. So we drove out and when we got there we met Jason who was great. We took the RDX out for a test drive and any concerns we had (there weren't really any...it's a certified pre-owned 2008 Acura RDX) were immediately taken care of. We then wrote up the paperwork for the exact price I had asked for and I handed over the credit union draft and literally from the time I arrived to see the vehicle to the time I was driving it home with all paperwork taken care of was less than 3 HOURS. Greg in finance is also great to work with and he took care of all the paperwork and didn't try to push us into any extras. He also took care of my PA tags and they overnighted them to me. The car has already been used quite a bit (I bought it on 9/13/11) and it has performed perfectly (as a certified pre-owned Acura should.) Based on the experience I had I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys for any vehicle. I know not everyone will have the same experience but they absolutely honored every request I made and made the drive over to Jersey worth every penny. More

I was in the market for a new TL, found on cars.com that Springfield had one in stock that met all my criteria except for color. after calling the dealer they informed me that the particular car had just be Springfield had one in stock that met all my criteria except for color. after calling the dealer they informed me that the particular car had just been sold, but they had an additional one in stock that was even the color i was looking for. i said i would take the hour drive to come in and try and see if we could make a deal. when i got to the dealer Tony asked me for all my info and wanted me to test drive and work out numbers. he couldn't have been nicer (for now) after getting all my info, he informed me not only was the the car one model year old it also had almost 2,500 miles on it. i reluctantly decided to still look at the car since i had driven an hour to come and see it. i was still impressed with the car, so i decided to talk numbers. This is where the experience at the dealer changed completetly. As soon as price became the topic of conversation, the attitude of both Tony and the sales manager he brought over to try and pressure me became downright offensive. Not only did they print out false information telling me that this was the only 6 speed model available on the eastern seaboard (i know it was false because i bought one at another dealer in NJ on the same day), they wanted more than the original sticker price for a used car! When i said that there is no way i owuld be paying anything in the neighborhood of sticker price for a car with that many miles they took it as personal offenses. They kept on leaving me and going into an office to then come back at me with a new price $500 or so lower each time. I ended up paying the same price for a new 2012 model than the lowest Springfield would go on a 2011 with 2,500 miles on it. They assured me that this was the best price and i was crazy to not take it. I visited 3 different acura dealers when looking to purchase my car, and Springfield was by far the worst experience i had. i would avoid them at all costs. More
The short version is I was promised a price via email by Alex at Springfield Acura (which price was the same as other dealers, but we went there because we had a previous purchase from there). When we went Alex at Springfield Acura (which price was the same as other dealers, but we went there because we had a previous purchase from there). When we went to get a deal finalized, they jacked the price up and said 'too bad, so sad.' In more details: We had previously purchased from Springfield Acura and went back when our current lease was up. On Fri, Jul 8, 2011 at 10:55 AM, Alex emailed me with a specific price. I went to visit him the very next day and he told us he had two MDXs in stock and we'd get a deal done. I asked about lease pricing. He gave me the numbers, and I brought them home to run them in a lease calculator. They didn't work. When I came back the next weekend (8 days after the original email from Alex), he said, in so many words: 'sorry, we can't give you the original price, even though we 'based' our lease price on it.' He then pulled out a manager who explained that even though we were a previous buyer and even though they had quoted a specific price, the best they could do was a full thousand dollars above their number. Needless to say, we stormed out and made a deal with a different NJ Acura dealer. More
Great experience...Great Salesman...would highly recommend to friends and family... Tony Spano took the stress out of my purchase. He was personable, knowledgeable and most of all a good guy. I h recommend to friends and family... Tony Spano took the stress out of my purchase. He was personable, knowledgeable and most of all a good guy. I have a dealership a block away from my office that I had purchased 5 previous Acuras from. Their service was not nearly what the service was at Springfield Acura and Tony S definately made the difference in my decision to purchase from them... More
Popped in to check out some New MDX's. Was instantly put off when a saleman who was about 4 foot tall said "im too busy" and walked off. Not impressed makes me want to take my 50k somewhere else. On March 31, 2011 I just purchased my 2011 Acura RDX w/ Tech Pkg with excellent price '$24,431' which was quoted by Marta Batalha of Springfield Acura, Springfield, NJ. If you are in the market for this mo Tech Pkg with excellent price '$24,431' which was quoted by Marta Batalha of Springfield Acura, Springfield, NJ. If you are in the market for this model you need to reach out to her quick. No other dealer beats her quote. I was told that the deal ends this week April 7, 2011. She was most pleasant Internet Auto Sales I ever had. I strongly recommend that you speak to her before making any Acura purchase. She stood behind what she quoted and she also very carefully provided me the best price before she could commit and email me the quote(IT IS essential). Scott Doylebb was the sales rep who helped me to complete my purchase while Marta is busy to bring more sales. I also would like to mention Phil Dimond who helped me to track down where my financial paper work is and the readiness of my new car to be picked. He promised to call me back at certain time and he did exact what he promised which gave me another pleasant experience on this purchase. Mr. IRA of Financial Department aslo is very helpful to finish my financial paper work. Good luck for your new car shopping. More
