I am a shopper thru and thru. I don't care what the salesperson has to say, I look into where I can get the best deal for my money and I will only spend my money where I am treated as a customer of val salesperson has to say, I look into where I can get the best deal for my money and I will only spend my money where I am treated as a customer of value. I got that at Honda Cars of Corona by Greg Fisher. He was very kind, direct (not rude) and professional when greeted us (he allowed us the time and space to look around a little so that we didn't feel as though we were being pounced on!!) and asked if we had something already in mind....which we did. Easy sales conversation. I loved it!! I did not buy the car right away since I am one to sleep on big purchase ideas. I will be returning this week to get that purchase and ask for that salesperson. Good customer service is something that can't be taken for granted......neither can word of mouth praise! I will definitely tell others about my experience. Jun has been my internet contact and very helpful as well! More

When I decided to give it another chance, Greg gave exemplary customer service. I was able to drive out of the dealership with the model I had chosen, in the color I desired, with the price I wanted. Instead of being a frustrating affair, the transaction was stress-free and quite enjoyable. I highly recommend Honda Corona and Greg Smith as I am a very satisfied customer! More

We went out and priced and looked at several cars in the same class and eliminated all but the Camry and Accord. We went to see Greg first, knowing we were still planning to go to the Toyota dealership afterward to test drive the Camry. He took us out and let us really feel the car. The power, to solid body and frame, the whole "car" experience was to let us get a real feel for this vehicle. I looked throughout the vehicle and noticed all the details that the other cars we'd seen hadn't paid heed. The Accord was beautiful inside and out. We went to the Toyota dealer and tested the Camry. I was not nearly as impressed with the Camry as I had been with the Accord. My wife, for whom we were purchasing the car, felt likewise. After thoroughly testing both cars, and taking note of the interior trims and accessories, we went back to Honda. We were already sold on the 2013 Accord. Once there, Greg got us through the process of financing and paperwork efficiently and easily. One of the easiest experiences we've ever had in purchasing a vehicle. He walked us through the features and setup of the vehicle to help us familiarize with the car, and even let us park the rental car at the lot until my wife could bring her new car in for the detailing work... leaving her with a vehicle to use to get to work. The Costco pricing allows them to be up front with every detail of the price and the accessories. It allows you to see the invoice and even demands it, something that Greg had no problem giving to us. All in all, it was the best car buying experience we've had since Saturn went out of business. (And we owned THREE Saturns!) If every experience at Honda of Corona is the same, we'll be back there as well. More
I haven't bought a car for may a year now. And like most of the car buyer population, I was hesitant. I dreaded walking into a dealership knowing that I would probably be there for 3 to 4 hours haggli most of the car buyer population, I was hesitant. I dreaded walking into a dealership knowing that I would probably be there for 3 to 4 hours haggling over price. The Internet is a great tool assisting car buyers to find a good starting price. Also, word of mouth and recommendations by friends, family and neighbors helped too. My neighbor recommended John Wall from Corona Honda. I spoke with him on the phone, very polite and professional. He quoted a price that beat the other dealers' prices by $600 for the same make, model and options. I told him that I was pressed for time and that I didn't want to waste his or my time going to Corona Honda if; 1. the car I wanted wasn't really there, 2. you show me a car with numerous dealer add-ons and 3. you keep me there "dealing" for hours. He was polite and honest in his answer: Come on in, I have the car you want in the color you want. Yes, the car has dealer installed options, there isn't a car on the lot that doesn't haven't at least 1 or 2 dealer "add-ons." If you want a car with no dealer add-ons then order it that way and wait for it to come in. I wasn't in the mood to wait and I wanted, not needed, a car now. Once at the dealership, I was greeted by John Wall. After the introductions and the idle chit-chat it was down to business. He showed me the car that I was requesting. I had no complaints nor were the dealer add-ons significant, it was something I was wanting anyway. He showed me the dealer invoice with the additional add-ons. He gave me my price for the add-ons which was fair. John never once tried to force anything on me and was very professional. He listened to my concerns and gave me all the options available to me: ie. extended warranty, service warranties and vehicle paint and interior protection. I didn't choose any of the warranties or protection. I explained to him that I could find the extended warranty elsewhere cheaper and for a longer period of time and the protection was over priced. He listened and replied, "it's there if you want it." We went over the final numbers and they were acceptable. I told him that I was putting cash down and financing the rest through Honda. He left and returned with the financing quote. I was surprised, Honda financing was .9% for 3 years and anything longer was 1.9%. The quote was for .9% for 60 months. Works for me! So, off to the financing manager, Jim Barton. Jim was professional and quick with a good sense of humor. Papers were signed, my new car was washed, prepped and gas tank filled. John handed me the keys and walked me to my new car. He went over the fine points of the new vehicle with me. He even attempted to connect my dinosaur of a phone with the car's blue tooth. It didn't work. My phone is ancient. A long story short, John Wall made this car buying experience a pleasant one and put my fears to rest about car salesmen, well, this one anyway. I have read many a post about car buying disasters. All I have to say is be prepared, informed and do your research before you step foot into a dealership. Be reasonable, nothing in this life is for free and Yes, the dealership and car salesman need to make a profit. If you do your research and the salesman will know that you have, by all the paperwork you have with you, then you will have a much better chance getting the car that you want for a "steal." My total time at the dealership was 2 hours. I was hoping for 1 1/2 hours but it was very hot outside and it was nice getting away from the kids for a bit. Thank you John (John Juan or Wan, lol) for making this car buying experience pleasurable and without pressure. More

The tech confirmed that it was from the transmission pan and he replaced the transmission pan gasket. Paid $283.54. It still leaked after I brought the car home. Took it back again on 3/24/09. This time it was diagnosed as Shift shaft seal issue and needed to be replaced. I was not charged for this service. It started to leak again in May 2013 from the pan and the shift shaft seal location. I had my brother take care of it this time - he is a aircraft engineer. Pulled the transmission pan out - what a mess. Honda Cars of Corona did a horrible job of replacing the pan gasket in 2009, with lots and lots of sealant, inside and outside. Replaced the shaft seal - the shaft was damaged by the mechanic in the process of taking out the seal in 2009, apparently with a metal object. There are deep scratch marks on the shaft and the area where the seal sits on was packed with sealant. What a lousy job. Never again will I take my Passport to Honda cars of Corona and never buy a car from that dealer. More

Dishonest and unprofessional. Told me could beat the best price from other Honda dealers, was unable to do so, then started to lie about the cost. After I bought a new Honda from another Honda dealer, best price from other Honda dealers, was unable to do so, then started to lie about the cost. After I bought a new Honda from another Honda dealer, he called me and became completely unprofessional. Basically, there are plenty of Honda Dealers in Southern California that are professional and honest. This one is not. Stay away from Honda of Corona and shop at a quality Honda Dealer. More

I made an appointment for to have my vehicle serviced at 7 pm. When I arrived, I was told nobody was around to do the oil change. This is upsetting in that a reservation was made, and not honored. Additi 7 pm. When I arrived, I was told nobody was around to do the oil change. This is upsetting in that a reservation was made, and not honored. Additionally, nothing was done to solve the problem; the attitude of the employees of the service department demonstrates a lack of professionalism and commitment to fulfilling the customer's needs. Furthermore, the irresponsibility of the department to provide the most basic of services in extremely disappointing. I will take my service and car purchasing need elsewhere and will urge others to do the same. Puente Hills Honda blows Honda cars of Corona out of the water. More
