Showed up on a Monday and received a price for the car. Several added "accessories" added that I did not want that they would not remove. Then I went through Costco's auto buying program and they sent me Several added "accessories" added that I did not want that they would not remove. Then I went through Costco's auto buying program and they sent me back to the same dealership, but offered 31% off the price of all those accessories. But the dealer simply raised all the prices of those (already exorbitantly priced) accessories to account for the Costco discount. They had to provide me with several quotes before they got it right as they continued to lie to me about why the "discounted" Costco price was more expensive than the price the previous day. Then, I proceeded to get different responses from different sales people to questions about the details of those accessories. I had one person explain the Protection Package as a "coating" on the paint of the car. I had another person explain the Protection Package as floor mats. I eventually realized that the paint protection was actually called the "Appearance Protection Package". They eventually just removed the "Appearance Protection Package" from the quote in order to get the price down to where it was the day before (with the Appearance Protection Package). They didn't tell me they removed it; they just did it and told me they discounted the car (and made it sound like they did me a favor). I also paid for a security system that they NEVER could provide any documentation for. I think I got taken to the cleaners on that for sure. I knew the car buying experience would be painful, but you're never really prepared for such a blatant lack of integrity. More
