Chris Foltz is amazing! The signing/negotiating process was easy, I felt comfortable and never felt “pressured” which honestly made me purchase! I just went to test drive and ended up leaving with a 2021 TLX that I am in love with. Chris was super respectful and this was honestly my best experience at a dealership- he even made me hot chocolate while I waited for them to apply the protection package. Just a great group of people. Ryan was super quick to respond to my online inquiry and that’s what got me there that day. Omar made the signing process quick and easy while explaining everything. Im not sure who applied the Protection package but they were great, efficient and quick so thank you to them too. I’m happy this is the group of gentleman I get to be working with for the next few years :) thank you guys! More
While the timing wasn't ideal given the pandemic, found myself in the market for a new vehicle. Social distancing and personal preference had my hands tied with regard to my usual process of checking out m myself in the market for a new vehicle. Social distancing and personal preference had my hands tied with regard to my usual process of checking out multiple vehicle options whether at the local car show or at various dealers. Instead, I did a whole lot of youtube and online review reading as I started to whittle down my options. When I finally decided on the Acura RDX, I started the adventure of engaging dealerships. Historically, I would do a split of TrueCar + some direct dealership engagements but my last purchase (2 years ago) revealed that TrueCar and Costco's previous competitive advantage has all but vanished compared to my willingness to engage directly. I reached out to all of the dealerships in the Greater LA area via email. Oddly, some (like Acura of Alhambra) completely ignored my inquires. While most dealerships were very cordial and helpful, Spreen stood out immediately. Edgar responded almost immediately to my inquiry (despite it being later in the evening). Over the next few days, while in the midst of some email conversations with a handful of dealers, Edgar, Chris and Ryan quickly began to stand out. Not only did they immediately, w/o any haggling give me the absolutely lowest price and best offer (without any dirty tactics)... Edgar and Ryan for example tag teamed to make sure I was never left in a lurch when asking questions. In fact, during one time slot when Edgar was unavailable (helping with a test drive), Ryan introduced himself and stepped in to answer my question to make sure I didn't feel ignored. Note that during this time, every other dealer shared their usual "that number isn't possible," "you're wasting your time" sliminess instead of trying to compete against a valid offer. None of them came within a stones throw or wink of what Spreen offered me right from the onset. I felt bad, but I had to reconfirm a handful of times with them since no other dealer came close and I didn't want to take a trip out to Riverside only to drive home disappointed if it didn't pan out. Edgar didn't seem bothered and happily responded to all of my questions. They even helped me make sure some additional accessories arrived in time for me to pick up with the car. Finally the day came and Edgar had the car ready for me. We did a quick walk around where I identified a few things that they took care of quickly and did a quick test drive. After that, we went into do the paperwork and Daniel with Finance was so lighting fast (just as others here on yelp mentioned). He didn't once even broach the topic of other add-ons, warranty extensions, etc... just like a machine I was in and out. In total, I think I was at the dealership for about 45 minutes including the walk around and test drive. Can't be happier with my purchase experience especially considering covid. I was so happy to share with all of the other dealership sales people that the "impossible" was possible thanks to the team at Spreen. More

Brought our MDX in for a Timing Belt Change and to diagnosis a unstable steering issue. Service center was clean and the service writers friendly, with good follow up. During test drive, service writer Brandon told us the steering issue we had was normal (it wasn't). After inspecition, they told us what parts were needed, which we had suspected during research, so we felt the mechanic who inspected did a good job. But Spreen did not have the parts. Said it might be a week or two. A week later, they called and said it would be another few weeks. Appreciated Brandon's follow up. But we called a Honda dealer who had the parts in stock, and actually was able to do the job for a little less money. Rated average for the initial "this is normal" diagnosis, and the length of time it would have taken to get the parts. More
