We had been looking for a new SUV that would seat seven and had been to several different dealerships trying to decide what we wanted. Worst experience by far working with any Internet Sales team -- they are super manipulative. How I purchase cars is that I get an out-the-door price via email and if the price is right, I'll come in to pic team -- they are super manipulative. How I purchase cars is that I get an out-the-door price via email and if the price is right, I'll come in to pick up the vehicle without wasting time at the dealership negotiating costs. Initially, I connected with Michael Mudron who promised to beat any offer I got from another dealership by $500. I got an OTD offer from another dealership and showed proof to Michael. My conversation was redirected to Ryan Moody who tries to convince me that the other dealership is notorious for marking up their price despite giving me an OTD offer. He then tries to explain that even if his price is higher than the OTD given by the other dealership, it is still cheaper because of his assumption that the other dealership will increase their OTD price when I go in. He made no sense -- I kept asking him to give me Spreen Acura's OTD price and he would disregard my request and state something else. He then wants me to provide the sales MSRP of the car and explains why I should be looking at the sales MSRP as oppose to the OTD price. Don't let this dealership fool you. You want the OTD price because getting the sales MSRP price leaves room for dealers to add on additional dealer fees and the tax, destination, and etc. are not included yet. In the end, he never gave me an OTD price -- not sure why he made it extremely difficult as other dealerships were super transparent and gave me what I requested. I do not recommend reaching out to their internet sales team -- waste of time. Their intentions were not to sell me the car because as an online customer, their service was terrible; so I can't imagine what it would be like if I visited the dealership. FYI - I ended up purchasing my vehicle from the dealership that he said was notorious for marking up their OTD price when you go in purchase the vehicle. It was obvious that it was not true because I paid exactly the OTD price that was offered to me with no additional cost. More
