We have had minimal issues with our service at Acura. We have run into requesting a car and then them not having record of it, but the overall service and customer service tends to make up for it. However, this time, I am so incredibility disappointed. I took my vehicle in to repair the hood latch and to correct the interior back window weather stripping in my 2019 RDX. The first time they brought it out after performing the work, my headlight was scratched. I mean like the whole headlight and deep scratches. We have them take it back to correct the headlight. The car comes back out and there is tape residue left behind on the hood of the car. We have them take it back to clean it off and it comes back with paint defects on the hood. I don't know if it was the solution they used to clean up the tape, the solution to correct the headlight, their car washing soap, or what. What I do know is that those issues were not present when they took the car back. Upon further inspection, you could see all of the residue from the car wash all over the car. I could drag my finger through the grim left by the soap. We tried to speak to them about the paint issue and they said "the paint just can't hold up to the environment that it wasn't them". Considering we park the car in a garage, I hand wash my car, and the spotting wasn't there before, I doubt that to be the case. In addition, we live in Southern California. My car is three years old. If Acura is producing cars with paint can't withstand outside elements, then that is a manufacturing defect. But again, the spotting was not there and it wasn't sun damage spotting. You can tell it is a reaction to something put on the car. So, we have had to escalate this to the warranty company and Acura. Prior to this, I would have said we are an Acura family and that is what brand we will continue to purchase, but this has just really sucked. Honesty and competence of those servicing the vehicle is just as important as the vehicle itself. I hope that we will be able to fix their error and there is always a chance for a "comeback", but right now I would be hard pressed to recommend the service provided by Riverside Spreen Acura. More

I had a transmission oil problem which stemmed from another dealer performing the service. I decided to return to my home dealership at Spreen Acura and I am glad I did. Spreen took care of me quickly another dealer performing the service. I decided to return to my home dealership at Spreen Acura and I am glad I did. Spreen took care of me quickly and provided honest recommendations and did not overwhelm me with upsells. Angel Hildago in particular is a great and honest service associate. He was very understanding and provided simple feedback and answered all my questions. At the end of the service I was so grateful Spreen did not even take advantage of my situation and charge me for something so simple as overfilling my transmission oil. Since I now live in LA, I will continue to have all my service done with Angel and Spreen Acura. More
