Last week my wife and I visited our daughter who resides in Orlando. While there our 2018 Subaru Outback Touring model developed a problem as it would not continue to run when starting the vehicle. I contacted your dealership, spoke with Fidel Miranda and had the vehicle towed to your dealership. The vehicle was at your dealership for 2 days and during that period the problem ceased to exist. Mr. Miranda attempted to recreate the problem but with no success. Thusly, no repair could be done as the problem was non-existance. I am here to tell you that Mr, Miranda was very cordial and courteous each time we spoke with him via phone. Whatever the problem was (believed to possibly be bad gas) the problem has ceased to exist. We are home now and the vehicle is running perfectly. Mr. Miranda is a definite asset to your dealership as well as to the Subaru Corporation. It is the activity of Mr. Miranda that sets a positive tone for the automotive industry and especially your dealership. I purchased my vehicle in Jacksonville, had a positive experience with the purchase and service and now a positive experience with a different dealership. For having Mr, Miranda as an employee we thank you. And the pick-up of the vehicle (after hours of the service center) was effortless with no problems or isues at all. Sport Subaru service reps have always been top of the line with us since we purchased our accent. However when we came in yeaterday to talk about the paint job on our car, we checked in with Paul who has line with us since we purchased our accent. However when we came in yeaterday to talk about the paint job on our car, we checked in with Paul who has always provided excellent service to us since he has been our service representative. After discussing the roughness of our paint Paul had the car washed and wax to see if the surface of the paint still felt rough and it did. Paul requested his service manager, Chad Vance to come out and check it. After talking with Chad we were told this was not covered under the paint warranty we had purchased. My wife or I did not care for the tone of Chad's voice. We felt we were sold a bogus warranty from what we remember being told about the warranty from the sales associate at the time of purchase. After leaving a little angry after dealing with Chad. I had mentioned contacting the FTC about being lied to on that particular warranty it didn't phase Chad and he just said go ahead and contact them. That's when I felt that maybe we made a mistake dealing with Sport Subaru. Anyway got home and read through the warranty again and Chad was right, there was nothing I could do and the warranty expires this month so not even worth canceling, lesson learned on warranties. My apologies to Chad but still did not care for the frustrated tone in his voice. If we ever decide to buy from subaru again we will not be purchasing the extra warranties. Thank you for your time.
