We were warned by our bank to not let them have you do another application because you are already good to go, all they needed to do is send in the buyers order and the contract!! Well Gil stated that it would be easier to just apply there and get it done quickly. We told him at that time, do they check your credit again, ‘ he said “ oh no they won’t check your credit again” well they did and it caused our credit to go down 5 more points!! We are very careful about hard inquiries on our credit because they stay on for 24 mouths!! we found out that the dealership gets a fee for applications done at the dealership!! Oh well lesson learned. We were very happy with Micheal, Meghan and David who helped decide to come to Don Mealey in Orlando instead of Orange park Subaru. I love my car but I am very unhappy with the dishonesty of Gil Amir. Lacinda Shore More

Bob Green of Sport Subaru on Colonial was Fantastic I have visited many dealerships in the past even working at one for a number of year and I have never met such a gracious salesperson in my lifetime. He listened to me , put on no pressure and helped me find my perfect car . I bought a 2019 Subaru Impreza Premium and I love it . I did my research before I went in to find an extremely safe vehicle for carting around my 3 grandkids . I wanted something small and could hold a stroller and my grandsons carseat . Bob even helped us put the seat in to make sure it worked for us . The funny thing is that I went in looking for a preowned Subaru Crosstrek but found the perfect brand new Subaru Impreza because of the great deal I got on it . I love Sport Suburu and Bob Green and my husband and I hope to buy all of our vehicles here in the future. Kudoos to you Bob and Sport Subaru on Colonial . 😊 More

Impulsively decided to go to Orlando from our last stop in the Tampa Bay area, a little out of the way, but Miami was the next place that had some we were interested in, so we picked the 'closer' option. Happened to decide to check out the 2015 Mini at Don Mealey Sport Subaru first. It was a little drizzley so we were just eyeballing it, then Adam popped out and we got to chatting. Never pushy, but he gently coaxed us along and we went willingly. It had everything we were looking for and a great price, plus Don Mealey Sport Subaru offer a great warranty on the power train, and it's hard to find a used car with extra warranties you're not paying through the nose for. Adam was attentive and informative, plus he didn't complain about the lack of legroom in the back seat during the test drive. 😉 Will went through our paperwork for the financing jazz, he was also attentive and informative. Everyone there had a good disposition. Easy going and affable, but serious about making sure your were getting good service and appropriate attention. Adam and Will made sure we never felt pushed or hassled, they kept things comfortable and casual, all while maintaining a good business that certainly seemed to be thriving. If car buying were a thing we did regularly, we'd definitely go back again soon, and often. We're loving the car, thanks guys! More

In trying to communicate with Andrew Kitchens and David Roman, the majority of our phone calls were not returned or misinformation was given, particularly from Andrew Kitchens. Availability of the vehicle, misinformation regarding the arrival of the vehicle, misinformation with the VIN number and desired model, pressure for us to make our drive from Tampa to purchase the car before it was even there, mistaken emails; we could go on and on about Andrew. Thank goodness he was off the day we came in to cash purchase the car and he does not deserve any commission for our purchase. David Roman in particular did not return our phone calls several times as promised. James Menzies in contrast was so caring from the moment we arrived after a long morning rush hour drive from Tampa and he took care of our every concern and need. Gil very expertly took care of our paperwork and we were on our way home in less than 2 hours, we’ll before afternoon rush hour. The only reason we came to Sport Subaru Orlando was because the exact Crystal Pearl White Forester Limited with gray leather which we wanted was shown online to be shipped soon. We are most happy with our new Forester and the service from James Menzies and Gil. The rest of your dealership leaves much to be desired and communication with the customers needs improvement in every way. We bought a new 2017 Subaru Forester in Longmont, Colorado, at Valley Subaru and the sales service there was excellent and a world of difference from communication with your dealership. If it were not for James Menzies and his total care in selling us a car, we would be writing a very lengthy complaint letter to central Florida District Sales Manager Erin Kellem.
