The last time I was in I bought a set of tires. They have a high speed shimmy that comes in between 75 and 80. I told Paul Claflin, the service manager but he blew me off by telling me I had flat s They have a high speed shimmy that comes in between 75 and 80. I told Paul Claflin, the service manager but he blew me off by telling me I had flat spots on my tires and wanted to chagre me $119 to balance his tires. I told Paul I developed a minor oil leak and suspected a oil pan gasket. Paul told me I had two oil leaks, the valve cover gasket and the rear main seal. He wanted to replace the seal; when he pulled the engine to replace the clutch. (which isn't slipping) for $3694. Of which $380 was for the valve cover gasket. (a $40 job) I told Paul my clutch was squeaking and he wanted to lube it for an additional $300. When the mechanics inspected it, they adjusted it which took away the squeak as part of the diagonostics. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation and Paul replaced my oil with synthetic oil without asking. I have never used synthetic oil and understand that once you start using it you must continue to use it. The last time I brought my car in I told Paul my plastic headlights were getting cloudy. He wanted to sell me to new headlights for $1800. While my car was in your shop, someone dripped a fluid on the drivers side headlight, which permantley marred it. When I complained they buffed out both headlights, which Is what I wanted to pay for in the first place. Unfortunately, the drivers side headlight is permamently marred. I asked Paul about a new car and he sent Kerwin over. I told Kerwin I'd take $10,000 for a trade on my Miata. He offered $3000, citing Paul's diagnosis and padded the bill. Needless to say that was a deal breaker and I never want to be forced to deal with either of these two clowns in the future!!! More
