I dealt with Beth for two weeks before I actually went down to purchase my car. Beth worked tirelessly to get me the deal I wanted. She was pleasant and courteous. My only complaint was not with her, but with the sales manger Josh. At the end of the sale, I was "surprised" by the high dealer fees. I was able to negotiate some all weather floor mats into the deal at cost. When my husband went to pick them up and pay for them, he realized that they were charging him full retail. When he questioned it, Josh was less than nice about it. When he realized that he was wrong and that the price he was charging was not what we were promised, he was apologetic. Overall though, my car buying experience was smooth and I love my new car. I would definitely recommend having Beth in your corner and I will be using her again. More
I have been bringing my RX8 to Sport Mazda since i purchased it in 2007. As with all my previous visits the service department has treated me very well. Car was in for service, my first time there. Jorge Guzman and I talked over the phone about the car I wanted and the price before I ventured into the showroom on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 4:59 pm. That's right, only 1 minute before closing on the L wanted and the price before I ventured into the showroom on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 4:59 pm. That's right, only 1 minute before closing on the Labor Day weekend and as I found out later, this was also his daughter's birthday party celebration. We had test driven Hondas, Toyotas and visited several other Mazda dealers in Orlando plus priced the identical car over the phone at several more dealers outside the Orlando area. Consumer Reports helped us with zeroing in on a final model and pricing which included available rebates. As you can tell, I am a trained labor contract negotiator and this wheeling and dealing is second nature based on my 30 years of "grinding" experience. Arriving at the dealership at the last minute was part of the strategy to get to the bottom line without forcing everyone to compromise a piece of their holiday time off. I'm sure the negotiation had to be very stressful for Jorge but he never showed any sign of impatience and was always very personable and professional. During the 3 hours of negotiation, he had calls from home about the daughters party but handled them professionally and never once made us feel uncomfortable even though I was being very persistent about my demands. At the last minute, I announced the trade in of a 1998 Mercury and that started another negotiation about reasonable pricing. After all our research, we were able to recognize a great deal and are very satisfied with everyone we met during the negotiation. Jorge has gone above and beyond what I expected during and after the sale! He volunteered his personal expertise to orient us to all the new technological features and interfaced with others when we returned during the first weeks after the sale. We both felt Jorge was very knowledgeable, honest, ethical (?can you say that about a car salesman?) and truly was interested in making and keeping us happy with our vehicle selection. In my work life, I am responsible for being able to quickly evaluate people and their personalities so I am pleased to say that Jorge is at the top of my list and would highly recommend him for any vehicle purchases you may be considering.
