This past week (6-23 to 6-29-14) I was again in the market for another Mazda, this time a CX9. Contacted Cory Fairbanks via their internet Dept. and within a few hours got communication via e-mail from David Fant. For some reason he kept saying that he could not reach me via phone. That was weird since they have record of me after purchasing a Mazda Tribute in 2010. Never again received any communication from him....I figure if you want to sell cars you need to follow up on your customers, especially someone that already purchased one from them in the past. I decided to deal with Sport Mazda this time and they really knew how to earn my business. I sent a message to David letting him know that I was dealing at another place and quickly the e-mails started to come in with a tone of sarcasm like I did not know the opportunity I was giving up for not buying there and of course the Lifetime warranty. Buddy the first rule in sales is finding the need behind the need in the customer....Professional Selling Skill rule #1. Being a prior US Navy Recruiter I see through your BS. Needless to say got an outstanding deal on a 2014 CX9 out the door price $25,585 with upgraded package. You tell me if I got a good deal or not....MSRP $31,775..... I do not recommend this dealership to anyone else, they lost me as a customer. More

Once all the paperwork was completed and they handed me the keys I was escorted by a young woman who went over all the functions of my new car. Overall experience was positive!! More

Don't lie to me! I came in with the intention of trading in my car and purchasing a new Mazda 6. The initial sales person was very nice and informative. After I deci I came in with the intention of trading in my car and purchasing a new Mazda 6. The initial sales person was very nice and informative. After I decided I wanted to "make a deal" the manager took over from there with the typical speech about how they are a big volume dealer and I wouldn't get a better price anywhere else. After I told the manager that I was quoted $3,000 under MSRP, he went on a crazy discussion of how he pays only $1,500 under MSRP (invoice amount) and could not match the price. He told me that the other dealers had incentives that I wouldn't qualify for and that their true price was higher than his. Mike said he only sells at invoice if a buyer purchases 10 vehicles per year, otherwise he loses money. He proceeded to show me the super secret website that shows what he pays. He complained that he had to at least make a few hundred dollars on the deal. He also gave me a verbal price for my trade in. Just to check, I went back to the other dealers and got their bottom line price without any additional incentives (military vet, recent graduate or previous Mazda owner). The original price they quoted was the TRUE price before any incentives. They substantially beat Cory Fairbanks Mazda, who guaranteed me they wouldn't be beat on price. When I went back to Mike, he lowered the price by less than 200 and lowered the price of my trade in by more than 10%. By the way, I'm not new to the new car dealership racket. I purchased a new Toyota a few years ago from an award winning volume dealer. What a difference! They were straight forward with me and gave me a price so far under invoice, that I actually felt bad (I'm a business owner and understand they need to make a profit). The owner told me that because they were a large volume dealer that the manufacturer would give them large incentives (additional discounts from invoice) when they sold more vehicles. Bottom line: The manager Mike was not telling the truth when he said "if I sell this below invoice, I will lose money". Mike, don't play me. Just be upfront. With the dawn of the internet, people are actually informed! Time to change tactics! More

I had been putting off buying a new car for as long as possible, but after arriving at the dealership I was set at ease immediately. Jose was very helpful in my search for the vehicle I wanted. He was kn possible, but after arriving at the dealership I was set at ease immediately. Jose was very helpful in my search for the vehicle I wanted. He was knowlegeable about the prices and kinds of vehicles available on the lot. He greeted me right away when I arrived on the lot and made me feel welcome. When we found the vehicle I was looking for, he explained the options and features. Overall, it was a good buying experience. More
Great experience from the first phone call to driving home in my new CX-5. The internet department at Cory Fairbanks Mazda is the best. They had every color and model of the CX-5. I went to the 2 other dealers in Orlando but they had a very limited selection. Thanks to everyone; I really love my new Mazda and the MPG is amazing. Cory Fairbanks fully represents the worst of car sales stereotypes. I went in to check out the mazda 6 because it's the closest dealership to my house. The sales manager (tall, overweight black guy named Jon) immediately put the pressure on to "make a deal", but when I asked for an actual price on the exact vehicle I wanted he completely refused. The standard procedure here is to add a bunch of extras on top of the MSRP like nitrogen-filled tires and pin-striping and mark it up $2000. They'll repeatedly tell you they sell more cars than anyone and can get you the best deal, but won't ever put anything in writing or an email. It's all about getting you to come into the showroom so they can do the classic psychological manipulations during negotiations. My advice is to go here only for test drives, but buy from either Classic or Sport Mazda here in Orlando. Both of those dealerships were great to work with via email and provided up-front prices, which were both right in line with the fair market prices on edmunds and kbb. It's the internet age people. Stop supporting places like this. More
